ovivoJR Any chance of another break week after Banham Canyon? Not saying you should do it, just that I'd appreciate it. If not, I'll have to call on a reserve driver to keep Xero's points up. Probably the same for me.

I am sorry guys. You will want to start to search for reserve drivers if you cannot make it to the 5th Grand Prix. If I change the date other racers can´t make it to the race so it would be unfair to them to change the date. I have to stick to the dates as people have committed to them. We might be able to shift the time of the race if that helps anybody but I would have to make a poll on this.

Going to be practicing Banham Canyon today at 8pm UTC. I will be doing a 15 lap session if anyone would like to join. Please post or message me if you would like to join... We will most likely talk about braking points and racing lines to help everyone.

Just to make sure that people don't misunderstand the time zones in use here. UTC is the main time standard that all time zones are compared to. The clock in the upper left corner on this forum is showing the time in UTC. GMT is the time zone aligning with the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is why there is no time difference between the two.
The time in Germany and the most of central europe is CEST(UTC+2) which adds one hour to the normal CET(UTC+1) for daylight saving purposes.

The time is 4:45 UTC Not that it matters but UTC is always equal to GMT. So GMT+1 would equal UTC+1. (In 'Daylight saving hours' the UK ceases to use GMT and instead uses BST (British Summer Time) which is equal to GMT+1 and UTC+1. )

UTC always stay the same, even if it's summer time or not. GMT is different.
Since I'm in GMT+1 and it's summer time, I'm still in GMT+1 but I'm in UTC+2.
It's a common missconception that UTC and GMT are always the same, but actually it's like this. GMT is a time zone used to display the other time zones (ie. GMT+1, GMT-4 etc..) and UTC is the baseline for all times.
Scratch that i guess...

Countries witch change for Daylight Saving Time just change the time zone. For me (Germany) from GMT+1/UTC+1 to GMT+2/UTC+2.

Well.. I guess I was wrong about that, but it's still not "The Same" as people are saying. I kinda did miss the part when it said that they share the time..
I just think that way because the timezone is usually called GMT+1, so I just think that it moves an hour ahead when it's summer time, but I use UTC as the "base" to make it easier. This whole time zone summer time shit is so confusing...

not sure if i'm using specific settings, but top left corner of the NoDo forums always shows me the current UTC time. so you just have to do a little math. /edit: i also posted this on teamspeak yesterday, but neodarkshadow is probably one of the quickest PS4 drivers, holding several track records. also, for banham canyon. if you're having trouble finding some lines etc. the video of his PB might help you. just keep in mind, that he is racing the original version of the track, so its just missing 1 section in the beginning: Video Link
