Despite watching E3 every single time it comes around, I have never judged he conferences to decide who had the best. I dunno, it seems pointless to do that since everyone has their own little things that they like. Plus, I'm not one that really likes arguing about things that are based on personal opinions since people will stick to what they believe no matter what.
Anyways, there isn't a "best" E3 show IMO. However, I am very excited for many of the games announced and for the Xbox One's backwards compatibility! I wasn't sure how I was going to fit my Xbox 360 on the same desk as my Xbox One, so that was nice xD Uhm, pretty much got to see all the games I was extremely excited about, most of that excitement was shown in the shoutbox.
Fallout 4 - Really awesome, almost overwhelming with the amount of content they were showing us. Settlement creators, armor-over-armor customization, a crap load of weapon alterations, Pip-Boy minigames, an enhanced character creator, etc... It was just A LOT to take in. I liked Fallout 3 more than Skyrim mostly because the whole post-apocalyptic setting they've got, so I'm looking forward to playing this in the future.
Halo 5 - I'm a Halo fanboy. I am. I hate Call of Duty, I am not ashamed. However, I do like Battlefield.. but that comes later. Alright so, I haven't gotten to experience any sort of current-gen Halo which is slowly killing me inside even if it's just graphical updates, and seeing Halo 5 just made that a lot worse. It looks so beautiful, and the scale of everything is so much greater than before. I may be over-exaggerating about it, but I've never played a current-gen game before so.... yeah. Also can't wait for the more arena styled multiplayer!
Mass Effect: Andromeda - I'm a HUGE Mass Effect fan, I've been playing the trilogy for a whole year now with only GTA the non-mass effect game I was actively playing. I had owned Mass Effect 1 for a long time, and beat it when I was young, but I didn't start playing again until I saw the trilogy on sale last year for Xbox 360. I just recently bought the trilogy on PS3 as well, although I have no idea when I'll get that started! Didn't see much of the game besides the trailer, but I still can't wait. However, the whole "Holiday 2016" part was hard to look at.
Need For Speed - Basically this is Underground 3, which is what I've wanted for I don't even know how long. There were a lot of mixed reactions about it mostly because of how flashy it was. I agree, there was a lot going on at once, but it's the kind of arcade/street racing/awesomeness game I like. I actually like all thew flashy stuff, but the drifting camera thing could possibly get annoying. I wouldn't mind it if we were given the option to prevent it, but I could live with it as well. The game reminded me of cinematic scenes from old NFS games, I was amazed. And the customization OHHHHHHHHHHHHH the customization is beautiful ;_;
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst - I love Mirror's Edge. The free-running was awesome and badass, especially when it led to kicking some baddie in the face. The whole world was awesome as well, just uggggggggh so pretty. I've got to play it again tbh... Well yeah, I'm glad there is a new one coming out because it has all the same awesome qualities (except 10x better) that the first had, but now the world is going to open rather than have us go in one set direction which is a fantastic addition. Also Faith is a 10/10.
Star Wars Battlefront - TBH this might beat Halo for me, it MIGHT do it. I love Star Wars, I love Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 and spent countless hours on them when I was younger. When I saw the Hoth gameplay I could swear I was drooling. It was EVERYTHING that I expected it to be. There is nothing that I didn't like about it, it was all perfect. ALL OF IT WAS PERFECT. And I don't have to wait till Holiday 2016!!! THANK YOU!
Kingdom Hearts 3 - My most anticipated game. It beats everything else in existence, nothing is close to it and nothing will ever be close to it. EVER. Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series. I've loved it since the day I got it, I remember seeing the FIRST trailer for Kingdom Hearts 1 and I had never asked for it, but that game would forever change my life. The story is not for everyone, and it is VERY confusing unless you keep yourself in the loop about it. I expressed my love for the E3 peak we got about this in the shoutbox, which was basically just me explaining how I nearly died from seeing it. It's such an enhancement from the old games, freaking crazy. There hasn't been a NEW Kingdom Hearts game for consoles since 2004 so... you could imagine my EXTREME excitement after having not a new version on a console. They recently released Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 on PS3 for us Westerners, but those were just HD makes of the Japanese versions (Which were released in Japan back in the early 2000s). Now I'm getting off-topic... OKAY Kingdom Hearts 3 is my most anticipated game, I'll end it at that. Thank you Square Enix.
P.S. Kingdom Hearts 1 just happened to come out on my birthday in 2002. Pretty awesome.
P.S.S. All of these are going to kill GTA for me.
