Blade Runner is my favourite ever film and contains one of my favourite ever soundtracks. Utterly majestic.
The gorgeous ambient score to Drive is rather wonderful, and complements the 80s-style electro pop too.
Three Colours Blue has one of the most emotional, soaring choral soundtracks ever.
Mulholland Drive with its dark, jazzy Angelo Badalamenti score paired alongside strange pop songs and 50s girl pop hits. Anything by Angelo Badalamenti for a David Lynch film is wonderful.
Inside Llewyn Davis, a bittersweet tale about a roving folk singer in the 60s has a suitably bittersweet bunch of 60s folk to go with it.
This Is England - classic ska, punk and reggae + Ludovico Einaudi's melancholic piano to go with this tale of 80s British youth.
I could literally go on for the whole day about this. I'll stop here. I've been looking at my favourite soundtracks and films on RYM and there's way too many for any reasonable man to digest.

This piano suite makes me really happy.
I just want to acknowledge the obvious soundtracks that will inevitably show up (eg Stars Theme, Jurassic Park) They are great also.

Clint Mansell's soundtracks are generally tops, in my book. Pi and The Fountain to name just two films that vastly differ in mood and genre but are still executed well.
Hans Zimmer, who can argue? Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight just to name a few out of innumerable. True Romance is a departure from his usual style and maybe worth a listen.
Danny Elfman, he's a bit fairy-tale at times, but it suits the films he works with. The energetic score for the original Spider-Man movie was fantastic. Did you know he did the main theme for The Simpsons and Mission:Impossible?
Jeremy Soule primarily does VG soundtracks, but I think he's fantastic as well. Little game called Total Annihilation from 1997 was my first exposure. Guild Wars 1 is my personal baby (e-famous, yo.) and he did the soundtrack for that game.

To this day I feel Queen of the Damned has the best soundtrack Ive heard for a movie. Every song fit so perfectly with every scene, which is far more important than just being full of hit songs. A lot of movies fill there soundtracks with hits but this movie didnt need to do that to make a great soundtrack. Jonathan Davis of Korn did a masterful job composing the music.

This is all you ever need ---> John Williams Youtube Playlist
Pretty much all of my all time favourite films are scored by John Williams. Might just be a coincidence but it's pretty astonishing really. Star Wars (main theme), The Imperial March, The Phantom Menace, Superman, E.T., Indiana Jones, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Home Alone...that's a pretty damn impressive list. P.S. I'd just like to point out that The Phantom Menace is not one of my all time favourite films, but that them tune is epic! Favourite them of all time would probably go to Bill Conti - Gonna Fly Now from Rocky.

The Blues Brothers soundtrack is the first one that comes to my mind
Can't forget about This Is Spinal Tap!
and I'm completely blinded by nostalgia on this one, but Labyrinth has a great one, too
