Hello Nodolites.. Is that a word?!
I’m sure some of you have played at least one of my tracks thanks to Pyro and his daily racing playlist, but I wanted to list them here in case you haven’t played one of them and also give a short description. Most of my courses are designed for Sports, but I will list any exceptions as needed. I more than welcome any and all feedback!
I’ll notate my favorite courses via a * as well as the classes best suited for it in order.
* Mirror Disturbance: One of my more liked courses and the first that I’ve made that I thought was fun to race as well as good enough to publish and have a few people on the track at the same time. The track starts off in Mirror Park and then goes into the city. Cars are above / below in a couple of times and the last part of the track is a tricky but fast section into the Start / Finish.
Note: there are no crossovers, those are overpasses
* Rockford Flyby: When I’m driving around and I see a feature around Los Santos that I think would make a nice feature on a track, I go into the creator and see how it works. This is one of those times where I feel I was able to make a nice streamlined track around those features. The Start/Finish is a continuous turn that flows in a way that you can almost get lost in the track when you have 5 or more laps on the track. There’s also a choice section with one side of the choice going under a bridge that I’ve nicknamed CH1LL1’s bridge since he can’t go a full 5 laps without hitting it at least once even
* Scrapyard Dash: One of my first tracks that I’ve made but still a favorite of mine. Like Mirror Disturbance, the ending is a fast but technical section that allows you to keep speed. The one thing about this track is while it’s a bit shorter than a few of my tracks and no themed sections, it still flows and is fun to drive.
Under the Bridge: This track was designed with the thought that it would be nice to have a track where you can go through tunnels and under bridges so you can hear the sound of roaring engines as you go along. There are a couple of tough sections to get right, such as the blind sharp left coming out of the second bridge as well as the hairpin section going into the first bridge. I’d like to see this one get a bit more playtime as I feel it would make for interesting racing.
Cool Beans Cruise: Best for slower cars, such as Sedans/Coupes, this is a shorter but still includes technical sections mixed with straights. The first sweeping turn can cause issues so be careful when heading into that under full acceleration.
East Vinewood Showdown: My newest track and surprisingly technical amplified by the fact that there are some really bumpy sections that can cause havoc if you don’t play close enough attention to the racing line. I haven’t played this one as much as the other but still enjoy it as it resides in a section of town that isn’t utilized very often.
