I don't think I like it at all.
Awful overly designed menus and interface, including the HUD. Truly dreadful matchmaking and network issues.
But the one thing that annoys me the most is the physics / controls. When you're going in a relatively straight it feels like it's attempting to be superior arcade-style racer, where it grips and is really twitchy. Go into a corner that's greater than a 20 degree angle and suddenly it says "nah, this isn't an arcade racer anymore, let's spin you the hell out and" no amount of braking can make you go round the corner, it's just ultra heavy and clunky. It's trying to be a mixture of arcade and realistic and ends up doing neither of them well.
It may just be me not used to it. If that's the case then this kind of game isn't for me.
I also hate all the cynical microtransactions I see littered all over the place and constant reminders that I must upgrade for only £19.99.
Graphics are pretty and the music's pretty cool though.

3.59 Euros for the Ferrari La Ferrari. Gran turismo has spoiled me will all the free dlc. Feels like an arcade game after playing Project cars. Doesn't have that steep learning curve.

Not really digging it. It seems like both the racing line and drifting are justifiable means of rounding corners, and tbh, that makes pretty much every first run through the pretty limited tracks into a hellhole where you will be ricocheting off the guard rails the entire time. The cars available are limited in terms of quality, as most of the "good" cars seemed to be tucked behind paywalls or microtransactions. Haven't tried the online yet, still grayed out for me.
Overall, it is fairly arcadey, and while the PCars level of skill gap is obviously not present, there is a noticeable skill gap. If you think of it as a game handed out for free, then the shortcomings (especially the lack of choice) is still a pretty sweet thing. Will I keep it on my PS4? Probably. Will I dedicate every hour to it? Not really.
I'd consider it a free-to-play game and leave it at that.
