I should have communicated my route ahead. I saw it coming, I know that if someone's right behind me in that section and I need to turn left, I brake on the left lane. Its just a bit of experience on the track, shit happens... Cant say i'm not happy it happened, because otherwise there would've been no way I could've caught the banshee again |

I'll have to calculate the final tallies but of course, the people's champion is ovivoJR and the winning team, BENEFACTOR MOTORSPORTS! //applause Very frustrating day for me today. Union Grain is not a Comet-friendly track and I think mine and Chilli's results reflected that. But, Zan Cudochamps was so as you can imagine, I'm pretty annoyed that I went from 3rd to last on the first turn because of the overly enthusiastic late arrivals. This season had an unacceptably high level of first corner incidents, in my view. By which I mean, 100% of races were affected by one, and after we introduced the virtual safety car it was out in every possible race. For season 2, and I will make this clear in the Season 2 thread, any persons at fault for a first corner incident will receive a 5 second stop-go penalty (or 10, if repeat offenders keep appearing). The Grotti F1, I understand, is free of problems and we should be too, especially since it has the capacity to penalise a really good start by having you move from 8th to 3rd to last. Having said all this, what a season and thank you guys for making it work. It's nothing without good racers, which you each were. Thanks to CHILLI for a good first season and welcome to the family Oh_Darn. |

Me and michiski22 will most likely keep on being teammates with the same sponsor. Only difference is that we're upgrading our cars to the Alpha, in hopes that it'll help us score some better results in the second season (and also make us look good while doing it). |

I think I can just announce that The_Bad_Loser and me are staying in the same Team. We definitely change the car but have not decided yet. Will there be a rule about how many teams are able to drive the same car? Because one of our 3 favourite cars is the alpha as well and I know that there will be at least 2 alpha teams |

Moving this to completed. First, my thoughts. Zancudo went exactly as I thought, poorly. Props to cloudmcshort for beating me in his damn Japanese economy sedan. Union went great! I would have had a shot at the end for second, but had an unfortunate incident with Superstepa_ where I braked early for a corner, and he desync took me out which set me back several seconds from ovivoJR and doompenguin. But hey, I'm not complaining about 3rd! On to next season! |

This just in! New team forms for the second season of SATCC as a sponsor, gentleman's club Vanilla Unicorn provides a talented pair of drivers with a surge of funds. As we see new cars arrive in headquaters of team VUNI we get a chance to speak with the club owner, Dick McBig.
[R]: Sir, first of all I have to say, it's quite an investment to finance a whole racing team. How would you respond to people asking if the money is being wasted and could be used to fund more strippers ?
[D]: Ahh right. We at Vanilla Unicorn have a mindset. We want to bring the most pleasure, in any way possible, that includes racing. We trust that our drivers will not only do well in the championship, but also provide us with a hell of a show!
[R]: And how much money exactly is being put into this project?
[D]: I cannot reveal any details, but as you may see in the pictures provided our funds are being spent well.
Besides interviewing the owner we also had a moment to get a word from the drivers themselves. Here's what we gathered.
[R]: Mr.doompenguin, do you have a moment? How did you become a part of this team?
[DP]: It was an accident really. I got in touch with my co-driver Fiyah and we decided to form a racing team. There really isn't much story to it.
[R]: Yes and what about the in-race leadership, how did you manage to conclude that?
[DP]: It was a flip of a coin really. None of us wanted the position that bad, but we had to make a decision so Fiyah became the leader. I'm just here to drive fast and set laptimes.
We didn't get a chance to interview the driver Fiyah as he was recovering from his latest crash.
Concluding this piece of news, we managed to convice the drivers to take a photo in front of their freshly arrived custom Albany Alphas
