Hi everyone (or no one?)
I've always loved racing and had been following Broughy on YouTube to get tips on cars and maybe some racing tips aswell...
I always figured I was an OK racer, winning sometimes and rarely placing at the bottom of the list - but I absolutely detested the bumper car mentality of GTA gamers, catchup and slipstream. Coincidentally I had a beautiful duel ruined today by these features... we were racing neck and neck for 30 seconds or so, untill finally the 'horde' caught up to us and all hell broke loose once again. So that's one big point that drew me towards the racing community and I figured finally I'd have some fun...
That is... till I tried racing with a racing crew. Talk about a slap in the face! Granted it was a track I'd never raced - but I couldn't even finish. Truth be told I think I had 4 minutes left on the race when my timer ran out
So now I stand humbled here before you willing to learn learn learn
I'll never challenge for the top I think, but I hope to have fun on the road anyways!
I also like to dabble in track creation - harkening back to EA's Racing Destruction Set (yes I'm "old") - so maybe I'll poke you folks to try one of my tracks eventually...
