UPDATE:
So 3v3 won the poll by a healthy margin which means we will have a maximum of thirty players. This means there will be 10 teams resulting in an 18 game season.
Now, 18 games is a lot per team so in order to speed up the process as much as possible home and away matches between teams will be held in succession e.g. matchday 1 kicks off with team 7 (home) v team 5 (away) and immediately after that is over it will be on to matchday 2 for team 5 (home) v team 7 (away).
Does that make sense to everyone?

I will add a link to the spreadsheet with all the fixtures, league table, top scorers, most assists and most saves tables so play well and you might top all of them
With that being said, in order to keep those tables up to date and in order, I will need one person from each team to take a screenshot of the end results after the match. The screen with all of the scorer/saves etc details and if you could also say if it was an overtime win or a regular one please that would be great (I think that screen only says win or loss).

Now it's time to finalise teams. I would like to set a deadline of this Wednesday for the final few teams to be arranged. If I don't receive word of teams by 8pm UTC on Wednesday 22nd, I will randomly assign you to a team.
The same deadline will be in place for team names and stadiums. Once again, if you don't tell me by that time on Wednesday, I will a) give you a random stadium, and b) use a random word generator to come up with the shittiest team name for you...you have been warned

I'm still trying to figure out days and times for each match so some feedback and input from you all would be very helpful. Please bare in mind I want this done pretty quickly, so I would prefer 2-4 matches to be done per day and possibly 2 sets of matches per week at least. Otherwise this season will drag on and people will lose interest.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to put you all onto a reserves list. For a couple of you 30 players was already decided when you signed up, for the others, we had reached 30 but the poll was still ongoing so I wanted it to run it's course first

Not every got their team name and stadiums in by the imposed deadline an hour ago so be sure to take a look at the spreadsheet in the OP to find your teams new name....I think 'The Sweaty Penguins' might actually the best thing to come out of a random name generator ever . Obviously....if you have a preferred name just let me know asap and I'll switch it for you.

So...
After a long think and some helpful input form a few people in the last couple of days, I have come up with a system in which we will play these matches.

Between Sunday 26th at 12:01am UTC and Saturday 1st at 11:59pm UTC you will need to play your first eight matches. And your following eight matches will be played in between Sunday 2nd at 12:01am UTC and Saturday 8th at 11:59pm UTC.
This leaves our final two games (matchdays 17 and 18) which I would like to be played all at the same time. Just like the Premier League irl, the final game of the season should be played at the same time in order to build tension over the title decider.
So a little closer to the time, we will all have to agree on a time to get online and play the final two games.

So that means that you have a week to play eight matches in order but we don't necessarily have specific time slots to adhere to. This is the only logical conclusion I have come to seeing as we have people across the world in many different time zones to cater for.

As stated previously, I would like one member of each team to send me a screenshot of the match results screen (the one with the scorer and assist details etc) after each game. Preferably on the forum in a PM so it's easier to manage and organise rather than through PSN. Please also include the nature of the win i.e. normal win, overtime win etc...
