I'd like to share a web page I built today, containing a weather cam showing the current weather in GTA Online (recorded from the Galileo Observatory, on PS4). It's my first ever web page, so don't expect too much. gtaweather.herokuapp.com/weatherAlso, the cloud formations are not always completely accurate, but the general weather characteristics such as day/night, rain, mist,… are. As such, it typically rains at these times in a 16-day cycle: day 4: 10h - 12h, day 5: 11h - 17h, day 10: 7h - 12h, day 15: 9h - 17h (lightning at 13h).

Nice work; that view gives a cool effect on the city through fog, rain and different lighting. I always thought the system was on a five day cycle since it seems to have a semi-consistent pattern of sun for four then rain for one, but I never looked into it. It's a shame the cycle rains mid day so often though. I've always been disappointed in how rarely the map has rain at night as I feel that the rain effect loses much of its aesthetics in the sunlight. Lights from buildings and cars can look so cool reflecting off of puddles in the dark, but it happens far to sparsely. The same is true for lightning.
If you are looking for an extension of this project, I'd suggest looking into a pattern for the moon. From what I've seen, it isn't in line with the day night cycle as it can appear during the morning as well as at night. It affects the lighting at night quite heavily, so it seems like something relevant to this awesome project you've got going.

Thanks for the nice comments. @alfislegend I haven't paid much attention to the moon, yet, but I know it's far from being physically accurate, which has always bugged me a bit. It rises in the west and sets in the east (as if rotation of the Earth suddenly changes direction). This can lead to phenomena such as the full moon rising right next to the setting sun in the west, which is utterly impossible. By the way, I noticed today that there are more factors that affect the occurence of rain than I initially thought. Apparently, if you spawn in the northern part of the map, the durations of rain can be different from what I stated in the first post – at least, that's what I assume, for now. This might cause it to rain for some people, but not for others, even once they meet in the same part of the map.

That would be really annoying if you're pursueing someone and you have rain and they have a dry road.
