When we did LSGP yesterday you were ahead of the rest of us (before you left or had server issues?), so perhaps you're not as bad as you think? I've certainly got a LONG way to go and as you say, sometimes do better in slower cars as they can be more stable. I'm trying to use the Entity more now as I know in the long run it'll be the best thing to master but it's definitely more prone to spin if you aren't careful. As everyone has said, think a lot of this is practice and knowing the tracks help a LOT!

I actually find the zentorno alot easier to drive than the entity.

Jeez, you know what? I was thinking Elergy and writing Entity, what a dumbass. Maybe this makes more sense now. I don't even own an Entity any more... It's been a long day...

Ah right lol I find the elegy a bit too hard to control I think the jester handles better and is more stable but im going to do some testing in the Massacro too see how I get on with that

First of all would like to say thanks to everyone who has replied and give me advice and pointers ive listened to it all. I have done some testing tonight round LSGP did testing in supers first the zentorno and entity were the chosen cars I got a quicker lap time with the entity but found the zentorno alot more stable and the lap times I got were alot more consistent. Best time with zentorno was 1.43.1 Then I went to sports I tested elegy and the jester now this may cause some controversy but I got lap times of about 2 secs quicker in the jester then the elegy a tap time of 1.46.5 in the jester and I found the jester alot more stable and was getting that sort of time more regular I found the elegy alot harder to control. Sorry for long winded reply and thanks if you bared with it and read it any more tips and advice would be greatly appreciated thanks For now, I'd recommend you stick with what feels most comfortable to you! The Jester is such a beautiful car to drive around in. Fantastic brakes, and predictable in the corners from the AWD system. Though once you start pushing the limits, you'll find that the max level of traction isn't enough to keep up with the Elegy. Where the Elegy really shines is on mid-speed corners, such as the long 180 degree left hander on Dockyard where those big boxes are. With the Elegy, you can take it flat out when you hit the right line, but for other cars you gotta lift.

the jester is a demon at really tight tracks, for more wide open tracks have u tried a massacro? its comparable/ better than an elegy on certain tracks.

Yeah I did some testing in the Massacro and found it really nice to drive and so stable and I had a few random races with some who I consider to be fairly quick crew members and something magic happened
On a whole u kept up in the Massacro. I was on pace but I still think I need to cut out on some of my silly mistakes to be a bit more competitive

In response to your question about the video, he does bring up a good point. While using the right analog stick, it does allow you better vision around the courses. I'd actually never thought of that! And, yes, he is correct that the farthest away view is the best (well, just for me personally). But, there is just a few more things to take account for. One is just knowing the roads and knowing the course. When you know the roads and the barriers in the way, you'll 9 times out of 10 do better than someone who doesn't. Next, your radar. Your radar is going to both show the roads and the upcoming checkpoints, so it's best to use the radar to your advantage. Finally, as it was mentioned in the video, try and avoid mistakes due to the fact that you'll lose precious time during racing.

12 minutes of "Look ahead" aka intro to racing 101 aka the first thing any instructor will tell you yes but what about the "use your right analog stick"? i mean, i can't do it... if i focus on that i just crash into everything because i'm not used to it, but do any of you guys use it? if you don't, do you think you might improve by doing it? i should have formulated the question better...

I used to do it all the time but I realized that once I had memorized the track I was just wasting time by fiddling with the camera. My focus was better spent on paying attention to the car to see if I could carry a bit more speed or get on the gas a bit earlier. I only do it now if it's a hairpin or a place where people like to crash and gather up. The only reason it was so important to shaggy in his video is because his track was barely a car wide and it was all hairpins. You'll never see a corner as tight as those on a real racing track.
