8-Track Endurance

Concept:
You may have seen this video when I've posted it before, but for clarity I'll post it in here again. This video pretty much shows what I've got in mind:
It won't be a 3 hour endurance though, more like 45-60 minutes.

Restricted Modifications:
0% Armor.
Laps:

Time and weather:
Noon and 'current' weather.
Start Procedure:
There will be no qualification procedure. The spot on the grid the game places you is your starting position.
Don't go on the timer, just wait. I need a little time to put some stickybombs. There wil be a rolling start.
I will lead the formation (at reduced pace, 50%) for 1 lap, and through both pitlanes. Single file, no overtaking during this lap! As soon as the 2nd lap starts, I'll detonate a sticky to signal the start of the race, and we're off!
Rules: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND ABIDE TO THEM!
Despite the fact there's a cross-over (obviously!), and this event got placed on the 'fun events' board, this is meant to be a SERIOUS racing event. NOT A DESTRUCTION-DERBY/CRASHFEST!!
This doesn't mean we're not gonna have fun, but it will only work as a serious event if EVERYBODY keeps to the rules.
Like shown in the video above, there are 2 ways to take the crossover:
1) Slow down (or stop) and wait for a gap.
2) Close your eyes, hold on to your nuts, and gun it!
Although in the video there are no collisions, during this event there most likely WILL be.
YOU SHOULD HOWEVER AT ALL TIMES TRY TO AVOID COLLISIONS ON THE CROSSOVER!!! (ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THE RACE, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE IN THE BACK OF THE PACK!) Don't ruin it for the others!
If you are responsible for a collision, you'll get a drive-through penalty, meaning you must go through the pits before continuing. Even when you're in the lead (or batteling for the lead)! Use the pitlane that is closest, you must pit asap if this happens.
If you are victim of a collision, don't start swearing (too much, lol), but continue racing. This is bound to happen to everybody over the length of the race.
Who has right of way on the cross-over? Well, simply put: the first one there! So if you hit somebody in the side, it's your fault, and you must go through the pit's as penalty. No waiting time, just drive through.
Keep in mind some racers will choose option 1, and slow down, so keep a little distance.
If you're planning on making a full stop, don't do it in the middle of the road, but out of the way.
On the parts of the track besides the cross-over, normal NoDo Racing Guidelines apply, but there will be no blue flag. This also means, if you take somebody out on one of the 4 points where there's a split/merge between the long and short loops, you will have to wait for the other. So watch out for eachother, and pick your lines carefully.
Besides the drivethrough penalties, there will be no mandatory pitstops. If you do want to go to the pits, just do it whenever you want.
When rejoining the track (after a [penalty]pitstop or after a collision) watch out for other cars.
Pre-lobby:
Please no trolling/killing/cops in the prelobby!
Teams:
There will be 2 teams of 7, randomly selected after sign-ups are complete.
Team Blue(/Purple/Black), and Team Red(/Orange/Yellow)
However as explained above, this is not a typical "Red vs. Blue"-event.
I would also be very happy if 1 or 2 of you (with a mic) would like to be a marshall to keep an eye on the drive-through penalties.
