2016 Grotti F1 Spa-Francorchamps - Qualifying Result
First pole-position for Scuderia Grotti this season
ovivoJR managed to get his first pole position this season. The Scuderia Grotti driver profits from a no-show of current championship leader arken . He will start infront of Sprunk driver StoryVS who has its second appearance at the first row of the grid after his pole on Monaco. Third will be cloudmcshort (Benefactor).
After his heavy crash in the last practice session the Progen mechanics didn´t have any time to fix arken his car in time to attend the qualifying. He will start from 18th place into tomorrows race. It will be interesting to see if he can fight back and get a podium finish to get closer to his goal of winning his first F1 title.
Överflod-Richard Majestics have also shown a strong performance. With 4th and 6th place they have a good chance at scoring points tomorrow to have a comeback after the Peckerwood Grand Prix. Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) once again showed that he has the edge over Oh_Darn in qualifying. We will see if his teammate can turn around the positions during the race like he did in the last races.
_ShediM_ who is currently one point behind ovivoJR will start in 5th position. For him this is also a good chance to make up some points to the leader arken .
We will see tomorrow who can decide the sprint towards the first turn for themselves. A good start will be key to go first into the first chicane. Here are the official qualifying results:
