I'd like to represent MAZE BANK AUTOSPORT. The colours would be white primary and red secondary, if it is fine with the Bravado theme. redlaserbm contacted me about being my teamate, if the offer still stands I'd like to be your teammate.

Looking at the driver list and I can't help but notice that the numbering skips over 13 This happens more often than not in raceclasses. Superstition about the bad luck 13 brings.

Sugar_Free_NosIt's quite dark here, but as you can see we were inspired and changed colours...

I just sent endersai a track I've been working on for a while for this SATCC season. I'd be happy to hear your opinions on it Singapore GP The name is based off the characteristics that i get from the Singapore F1 circuit, not off the atmosphere (night-/cityrace). It's a short track on Sandy Shores, with laptimes comparable to bahrain. I've tried my best to make it satcc viable while not having the same kind of layout as the other tracks. It has a lot of corners (around double as much as bahrain on slightly lower laptime) and is short on straights and hard braking points. In todays playlist I've seen bladecruisers track that he apparently applied with for the satcc, i was surprised to see that it shares the same first two corners but as far as i know this track has not been approved (yet) anyways. I see the concern that players voiced on blades track that sports are too fast on these streets and this is what many would probably say about my track too but I think it's important to have races like this in to balance out the strength of each car and considering we're all practicing the tracks beforehand I have no doubt that we can have as clean races as the others on this track.

I will check out your track st0cking, but it's indeed difficult to be original in Sandy Shores. I tried it too and it took some unconventional track/bridgebuilding to be original. Btw there're multiple satcc tracks in Sandy Shores already so the roads aren't to narrow for the sports we drive.

I did a few laps around the track and first of all, thanks for crediting me for the inspiration . Lets start with a positive: I like the layout, it flows well and feels pretty natural. Good job on that one! Now lets be honest, there are already two Sandy Shores tracks on the SATCC calendar which are, no offence, of higher quality in layout, raceability and prop/checkpoint placement. Some sections are just way too narrow for the sportscars were running. Totally fine if you are alone on the track, but thats not the case in the championship. Things you can work on: Props: Some parts are too narrow, youve build in the track too much to a point where theres not enough room to race. This is mostly the case in the first about 1/3 of the track. After the first bridge the track is wide enough. The concrete barriers in the first section are unnecessary and make the track tighter than needed. You also might want to make the bridges a lot smoother because they pretty much serve as ramps, what I dont think you meant to make. Checkpoints: You need more checkpoints. Checkpoints in the middle of a chicane can be very confusing. Its less of a problem if you know the track off course, but when you get around for the first time, its just guessing where you have to go. I prefer to have a checkpoint on the apex of every corner worth noting. Hope this helps you a bit and i'm curious what you can do with it

Hope this helps you a bit and i'm curious what you can do with it Thanks for the in-depth critique Considering the first half/third of the track being too tight: I've actually intended on it being this way, I felt it adds excitement to have a part where it's particularly hard to overtake and ofc I haven't tested this with a full grid but me and Ganjalo were actually able to battle in the 1st 3rd of the track, although it was kind of nervewrecking, like curvy parts on bahrain where overtaking was possible but risky. One thing that I did actually have to make tighter than intended was the entering corner to the 1st bridge because without the barriers, there wouldve been poles slightly showing out of the platform, on which cars could get stuck on or get a boost from, depending on how you hit it.. The concrete barriers on the first section were put there to 1. get a clear line to take, because I've seen this bush on 1st corner cause troubles in other races and 2. to block off the curbs coming onto the parking lot. I might be wrong thinking that there's enough space or maybe it's just preference but I've had the most fun battling specifically on this first third of the track and i thought if everyone knows the track beforehand it wouldn't cause issues. I agree that the 2nd bridge is a little ramp-y, i dont think it would hurt in the race but ofcourse its kind of "unrealistic" in terms of real racing experience. I'll have to see if i can strech it out a little to make it more smooth. ;P About the checkpoints i haven't really noticed anything and out of my head i can't think of where they may be confusing but I'll check on that, I guess i stopped paying attention since i knew where i was going anyways.

One Extra thing to note st0cking would be the diversity of nationalities we have in the event, just a tiny extra bit of room on a track makes a LOT of difference when connections aren't the best, This event has 3 Aussies after all (tho one is in japan) and narrow areas are always trouble when racing close, more-so with lots of people.

Ok guys, we are THIS close to finalising the downgrades for the Surano and Schafter V12 which means shortly you will be able to select your cars.
The strategy group, compromised of the most seasoned SATCC drivers + the official testers, have been allocated cars on preference alraedy. This is not to make things materially unfair for the rest of you, but rather these guys have taken a lot of the strain of me having to do everything. That has meant them putting in work to test tracks' finding a baseline lap time for each track in a Banshee then working out the alphas between the Banshee and other cars; then working out how to trim that Alpha so the cars are all more or less on lap pace (though stronger/weaker in different areas) to the Banshee.
I hope to have confirmation to you all shortly what the downgrades will be, after which time you can select your car.

I just added this to the original post, in case people were unsure on scoring:
We use the FIA F1 points scoring system in SATCC.
Points are awarded as follows: 1st place - 25 points; 2nd -18; 3rd - 15; 4th -12; 5th - 10; 6th - 8; 7th - 6; 8th - 4; 9th - 2; 10th - 1. If drivers are tied on points, positions are decided on results countback. Wins are compared, and the driver with most wins is classified ahead. If wins are equal, second places are looked at, and so on.
