Now I know this could be fake, but how cool would it be to see these blasts from the past? I think the possibilities for more races would be incredible along with all the other possible content that could come from it! Thoughts on validity?

It's most definitely fake, but I'd like to indulge myself with possibilities assuming this were real.
First off, the garage/apartment cap should be raised to three as to allow one property per island, or two and one if you particularly hate one of the three. Next, I'd like to see some new boats seeing as they would be useful for the first time since release. In particular, a barge capable of carrying a car or two would be enjoyable. While we're dreaming, get a new freemode activity where the objective is to smuggle drugs from one island to another. You have to look out for other players, but the payout would be huge considering the travel expenses. Also, I'd like the islands to be around ten minutes apart when flying, that way people can't just hop back and forth willy nilly. It'd also open up an opportunity for R* to take in more money by creating a fast travel at airports, taking away around $1000 every time you use it. As far as the maps themselves go, I'd like them to be truly representative of their real life counterparts. For example, San Fierro should have huge bridges, an extremely vertical based map(very steep and hilly), and a large bay in the centre. Las Venturas could have a strip of hotels and casinos down its center, a very flat and open surrounding leading to some amazing dune buggy races, and of course the best fountain displays for backgrounds in car photos. Since this would clearly be a next gen thing, lets also raise the limit of lobbies to 48 people.
Finally, though these thoughts are getting dangerous, I'd want some big guns for the ocean faring men. 20-30 million dollars for a vessel incapable of going anywhere near land, but has a capacity of a dozen men, has multiple, individually operated free firing cannons, and best of all, a long range mortar system that can rain hell on any part of a city within sight. Now, I know that last part sounds horrendous, but make it so there is a massive cooldown for the weapon, plus make the ship itself pricey to retrieve from Pegasus(say $10 000 a go). this plus the fact that it is vulnerable to the jet makes it somewhat balanced, but it deserves to be a little OP for the price.

This is 100% fake. I've seen a clearer, less pixelated version of this and it is photoshopped. What they have done is use parts of the current map and piece them together to form the "new" islands. Look closely and you'll see three Paleto Bays and the harbour is in there a couple of times, amongst other things. I agree that it would be amazing but it is highly unlikely to happen any time soon, and when it does it definitely won't be for the PS3 or 360.

Even if it is not real at the moment, they could make it into DLC potentially. Perhaps they could limit it, to make it feasible for the systems, so that you could only load up one island per session. So as you join GTA online you choose one of the three islands to free roam on, but can load up missions from any of them via the start menu. That way they can keep the lobbies to 16 people. Unfortunately if this were the case rockstar would make you buy all new garages and cars to fill them on each island. I would only hope you have access to all of your owned cars during races on any of the islands. Now if what you said was the case, then I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. All of that sounds like some bitching content. Also, you are certainly a man of the sea.

I love my Marquis with all my heart, but even it couldn't strike fear into the hearts of others quite like a battleship. Alas, this will never be a reality, but one can dream.

That moment when you find something awesome and get told its fake:

Even I could construct better fake islands than that. So obvious which roads and parts of the coastline they've copied.
This 100% won't happen but the idea of flying or sailing to another island is great. Never before in GTA have separate, main islands been completely unconnected by a bridge.

could happen on next gen why not It could but I just like to point out to people that increasing the map size has absolutely nothing to do with the ability of the PS3 and 360. The map is loaded in chunks or tiles just like every other game. When a player is not occupying space in a chunk or tile it becomes unloaded. Thus the only real limitation with map size is hard drive space for people who are lacking it. The only way map size could become an issue is if they also increased the amount of players in a lobby thus increasing the amount of chunks or tiles loaded at one time. You can see evidence of this when you get into a 16player free roam and its especially chaotic your frames drop to 5-10FPS. Whereas in a invite only or closed crew session the game loads nearly(emphasis on nearly) flawlessly.

more talking about the 48 person lobby or having people on all three islands in a single session that will take some system power
