For those who don't know, there are a few variations on my track, Popular Circuit, that are somewhat controversial due to their high risk when executed. To start, here are the two areas I'm talking about:
The first shortcut is shown by the orange car on the first lap at the 12:41 mark, and the second is shown at 18:36 by the orange and blue car.
Now, the first shortcut is very hazardous due to the risk of the lamp post being hit causing clutter on the track, plus the driver using the line often ends up causing a pileup. It has the capability of being a very efficient overtaking spot, but once again it is very risky and can cost other racers time and positions if done wrong.
The second route is a lot safer than the first, but it still holds risks. Once again it can be used for efficient overtaking, but much like the first, it is often the cause of accidents due to the lamp post to the left that is often hit.
I personally don't use either of these routes out of consideration for other racers, but I'd still like to hear some input from you guys. Whichever option gets the most votes will be the one used on the track, so get to the polls!
