I was having a good battle for 6th in GT4 after spending most of the race at the back. Then i crashed trying to avoid a crash which dropped me to last again. Lots of hard work chasing people down all for nothing.
I need to sort out my internet so post your suggestions please:
I am on WiFi, PS4 is to far away from my Home hub to use a wired connection, My BT TV uses those plug things to send signal down the electric cables (can i use more than one set of those connected to my home hub?)
I really need to sort it out. It is ruining the racing as the game keeps freezing or slows right down. I can be battling somebody and then it freezes for a split second and i rejoin miles behind.
If i lap on my own i can set a good time, but in a race, the frame rate drops and i cant get anywhere near the same lap times. even last night when pushing hard and doing clean laps to catch back up to the field, i was 3+ seconds slower than i can normally lap.
Any suggestions are welcome

GG guys! Had a great start, but unfortunately I had a massive choke in the corner before the railway crossing, and since it's a horrible place to rejoin due to the high speed I just waited for all cars that were close behind to pass me. I was pretty close to Dangalangtyme for most of the race after that, and that made the race pretty interesting while I tried to catch up  Also had a pretty cool battle with Herbatnik for a couple of laps Broughy1322 I think you made a mistake with the qualifying times, as I had a better time(4:11.7) than MatWielki(4:11.9). I don't really think it mattered that much overall, just thought I should mention it. It was a great event anyway, can't wait for the next round! |

GG to all in both GT:s! I had alot of fun and im looking forward to the next race! I am vere happy with all the GT5:s that I lapped not one coused me troubble, even if the rules say that lapped cars should not move out of the way, it helped enormously that they let of the throttle a bit to facilitate overtaking.I also experienced clean racing throughout the hole GT4. GG

Umm I have one question for StevenH2012 who I believe was the one I borrowed a car from. Was your car fully upgraded? Cause like even if I did bad, I easily got outrun from other LAPPING JB700s having battles in straights even if I got a much cleaner run. Nevertheless, I enjoyed racing BC24 by myself in a car I've never driven before  Also Broughy1322 , for the second round, is it strictly Buccaneer for GT5 or can we also use the Buccaneer custom? |

Any suggestions are welcome Can you move your hub to a position closer to your ps4 and then use a wired connection? If not, you could try and ringing your ISP and get them to send you out an engineer to run a cable and put an access point in the room that you have your ps4 in, and connect your hub to use a wired connection instead. I also have the TV plug in devices and my hub is in the front room and the TV is in the back room, the signal can travel anywhere within your home. If it is not possible to do that, check the noise level of your wifi. I had a problem watching live streams on my mobile phone and it was related to the channel my wifi signal was being broadcast on. It was set to automatic and it seemed to be causing an issue. I since switched it to manual and I change the channel i'm using manually to one that has the least amount of noise on it. If you log into your router, there should a wireless section somewhere, on mine it has a channel statue tab and there is a scan function within it. When you do a scan, it will give a graph of the noise levels of each channel, just pick the one with the least amount and set your wifi to that. Hope this helps. |
