I know that a lot of classes in GTA are open ended and have a lot of room for different cars to be the "best" in their class.
So I guess my question is: When do you go out of the norm and use the Turismo instead of the Zentorno, or the Blade instead of the Dominator, etc?

More often than not, on the PS3 side, we never used the elegy. Most of us hate it. So it is between the massacro and feltzer for use (unless you are Woofles, he uses the sultan). The more technical tracks we will use the feltzer if we have one or the massacro for longer sweeping tracks. I use the turismo exclusively almost for racing. I hate the zentorno sliding so much and the precise handling of the turismo helps me navigating the chaos of the races.

The Zentorno is the fastest in the supers class around any track and so is the Elegy in the sports class. I guess if you dont want to use the Elegy then its up to the Jester, Feltzer (technical tracks) and Massacro (long straights). Also the Dominator and Blade are pretty close but when the track consists of long straights the Dominator has an advantage. In the coupes class there are obviously 3 cars on the top and you can do well in all of them but avoid the Exemplar when the track is very tachnical or its raining. Finally in the sports classics class the Z-type is the fastest but if the track is once again very technical or it is raining you might be able to use the Pigalle and keep up. Feel free however to race in any car you want because I personally believe that its better to just race in a car that you like than win in a car you dont enjoy driving (well at least in those everyday random races we do with other members). Its so refreshing seeing a grid full of Massacros, Jesters, Sultans, Banshees, Feltzers, Comets ( I use the last 2 ) than the monotony of Elegys we used to have some months ago, so keep it up:D.

The Massacro only needs a few long straights to reign supreme. North Loop its dominate by a lot for example. Ive also yet to see anyone come close to seans time on Nurburgring in a Turismo in a race.

Trowa So your saying that the Turismo and Massacro are fastest in their class around the North Loop? I don't know, haven't done any testing or nothing but I find that extremely hard to believe.

ChrisDE22 I can attest to the Massacro, but I'm unsure the Turismo is quite on par.

I enjoy using cars other people won't use, although I do, in some classes go with the majority. Sports | Massacro Sultan | Super | Zentorno
| Sports Classics | Pigalle | Compacts | Rhapsody | Coupe | Felon | Vans | Bison | Utility | Sadler | Sedans | Schafter Warrener | SUVs | Huntley Granger | Muscle | Dominator |
I don't own any Offroad vehicles or Bikes. The reason for this is I really don't like bikes and in both classes bikes are dominant.

Trowa I did a few laps with my Turismo around the North Loop and amazingly did get similar lap times to those of the Zentorno which doesn't happen in most other tracks. I would say the instant turn in and amazing change of direction of the Turismo are the reason for this as it gains lost time on the second and very technical part of the track. I really like the Turismo so I will defenitally be using it around the N.L.

It similar on north loop but I said Nurburgring for the turismo actually but Sean competes on North loop Also so go ahead and use it. Very good car.

Why the Warrener, is it like the Sultan in that it handles well off-road where as cars like the elegy, Massacaro and feltzer don't?

No. It handles nothing like the Sultan, I just really like it.

Woofles approves of the Warrener and that is all you need to know.

I feel like I would only use the Elegy in certain circumstances nowadays. Such as hotlapping. I've found it better than the Zentorno/Turismo/Entity on several tracks, which is quite amazing.
