I am a fan of 2 30min races, short and full of action.
The problem with long races is that the field will spread out too much, and you can't enjoy much fighting for positions. For me the start and the first 3-4 laps are the most exciting.

Really enjoyed the first race with the numerous battles. The only thing that was not so good was the backmarkers driving in the way. Second race was just a disaster. Not my kind of track and more crashes than I could count. But overall I really enjoyed it

The moment my first race got ruined: Thinking back, I should've pitted, but I decided to race the entire race with the damage I got from that crash. Eva, did you happen to capture this crash from your pov? Hearing your reaction (if its actually yours xD) sounds like you did. And this is where my second race got ruined: Even though I didnt race for the win, I had some really nice battles and had a lot of fun fighting my way back to 8th on Peckerwood after that horrible crash. I picked the cars purely on how I liked the looks, and I don't regret the choices I made. Wanted to race the Cogno 55 in a serious race since it came out Thank you Just Hero for organizing this event, had a lot of fun!

Eva , did you happen to capture this crash from your pov? Hearing your reaction (if its actually yours xD) sounds like you did. I didn't get a view of it in its entirety, but I saw you flipping end over end into the trees. Jump to the 37 minute mark in my stream. -Eva

thanks for hosting hero, great event sorry i dropped out in the end, i don't usually quit a race but that was one of my worst races ever, almost making me cry. Not even because of other people or myself choking, just a couple really unfortunatally placed pedestrians and being in wrong place at wrong time (like 50 times). Yep, thanks a lot to Just Hero , that was an amazing event and I am agree with you, first race was bad for me also, but we had nice battles with you for the first place in first 10 or 20 minutes, then I started choking a lot and made 6 or 5 mistakes, so the first race was like that: from 6 place to first and then to 9th place. But did a little comeback in the second race from 18th place to 4th place.

I enjoyed both races, I was terrible both of them, but I had really interesting battles with different cars. I think on the first race I had a battle with every different car, except the one I was in. And every battle was multiple lap long, because the different characteristics of the cars.

It happened straight after Diviat took me out. Then about a lap later I was wiped out by a backmarker. From 4th to 11th, what a disaster lol.

I got it on tape as well, nice take-off captain, you should work on the landing though (footage is stuttering a bit, no idea why) Edit: "There was something on the road" - @hiberg has met the same prop, too (hope it's not too dark) ___________________________________________________________________ And there also was some nice "technical talk" during the race: QuincyS : nommasch, why did you handicap yourself by not putting a spoiler on the glendale? lodus (@nommasch) : are you kidding me? QuincyS : the trunk acts as a spoiler. lodus (@nommasch) :

Hey, my nickname is Divait, it's so hard to keep that in mind? And I didn't remember any crashes with you or any "calls" by you in TeamSpeak, which have been associated with me. Also, I don't want be picky to you, but, please, next time just try write things more clearly.

Sorry this has taken so long to put together, but I've had some exams at school this week and I just haven't had the time. The Results
Congratulations to @hiberg & Superstepa_ on their win, won through scummy fps boosts great racecraft. Notes- @hiberg 's fastest lap in the stratum was disallowed due to his unlimited fps. Even though I never actually stated that your fps needed to not exceed 60, it seemed like almost everyone did anyway. Therefore I want hiberg's lap to be null and void to keep a fair playing field.
- I think everything went quite smoothly apart from the obvious. The break between the races was stupidly long and should have been restricted more. I want to apologise to the people who were forced to leave during the second race due to the event running over the estimated time.
Again, I want to thank you all for participating in this event and letting me gain the experience necessary for my future event ideas. And last of all, I hope you had fun

well done @hiberg The race at peckerwood was one of the best I've had in a while, so many awesome battles with different people. I don't know about turning this into a championship series, but there definitely needs to be another showdown like this.

When you realise that the points you contributed didn't make a difference toward the victory
