But more important, we are starting next to each other, and we are going to work together, at least until I hit my favourite pylon, and cloud leaves me behind. I'm just worrying about, being in the slowest car on the straight, getting rear ended a lot. And also, I'm almost always racing with headlights-off, so when my headlights breaks, I have no disadvantage. And the person behind me sees better when I'm breaking. endersai do I have to turn on them at night time? The Chetaah has one of the worst brakelights, if it comes to visibility when the headlights are on. As I said I don't want to be rear ended.

To be fair, we would only get rear-ended by people who miss their braking points, since we're slower on straights and have the best cornering capabilities out of all the cars out braking points are always later than other peoples. Not saying that it won't happen, people are not too great at keeping a safe distance when being behind someone going into a corner.

I'll just do my customary "SLOW THE FUCK DOWN WHEN A CORNER IS COMING UP" shouting that I do for the welcome playlist, it seems to help a ton there with keeping that sort of thing in mind for the first few turns of the race when everyone is bunched up.
The light requirements encourage more cautious driving, as you're just as likely to put your own lights out as you are someone else's from making contact with them.

Yes, if you take ram out the lights you can follow them through the pits for a drive through which doesn't count towards your pitstop total. The reason for the headlights is as follows: We did an unprecedented thing and ran the track at night. It's ridiculously dark and a few corners will throw you off. Given the corners in question - where Spa and Spa Short link up, for example - there's capacity to cause an on track incident. I wish to avoid this. So at night, you need to run with headlights, yes. This enables cars to be clearly visible to one another. As for concerns - at night, even if you practice between now and Friday, I would still point out that you're going to have to exercise caution and restraint at first. It's just a different track in the dark, so make sure you leave space and don't try and sneak past on a questionably narrow section of track until a few laps have been covered and everyone's found their rhythm. Benimi - yes, lights are required. doompenguin - I was shocked myself that you and Story ended up there. Just as shocked will be none of our reactions when you win from last. cloudmcshort - sorry, I didn't realise I had you starting so far up the grid. I'll amend it so it reads "Cloudmcshort starts from GTA IV".

To a point Cloudmcwaterudoin made before: I expect every single driver in this event to have an understanding of the hitbox of the cars racing. I also expect you have a broad idea of how other cars will handle. To the extent it is possible, I'd advise you do a few laps in each of the supers you have so you know the handling characteristics. For example: The Cheetah has a later braking point. The T20 and the 900R Banshee will need more road through corners as they tend to, even when hitting the apex, go a bit wide. etc You should also know if a person is far from the host, Oh_Darn, geographically and therefore might have a 2-300ms ping which results in a bit of lag. Pezby and I are in Asia/Australia respectively, for example - that will have an impact. Lag hits are often avoidable. Let's have fun, but let's also respect the shit out of each other yeah?

You should just let me yell at people before the race starts. Based on my previous experience of yelling at people, it tends to fix the issue.
