Why are organizers so fond of holding events on Friday? I said this same thing to Jontti500 in the Super Master Event; Saturday works out better for those of us out west. Sorry mate. I generally can't do Saturdays. Sometimes I'm about, sometimes I'm not. I'd rather organise something that I can be at for at least the majority of. How many hours later would it need to be for you guys across the pond?

If someone is from mainland Europe, it's even worse seeing as they would be starting past midnight.

8PM BST is 7PM UK time? Right? ._. Oh and Pundip? Shouldn't we make it only sports and high end, or something like that? Because Tuner wheels are close to off-roads

Simon #Krapea BST is British Summer Time which is what we currently are. so 8pm BST is UK time which is also 7pm GMT That's also a good point about the specific tyre types. I always use Sports so I will be using them anyway. I'll have a little think about it and let you know.

Technically speaking shouldn't we be using the tires with the highest wall? F1 wheels are less than 14", but the tires are really thick. Most of the suspension on an F1 car comes from them.

Technically speaking F1 cars don't drive over pavements every 5 seconds, that's called "exceeding track limits" and would get you in trouble with the race director . Putting a wheel on the curb at an Apex is fine, that's actually quite realistic, but moving over and putting all four wheels on the pavement isn't. I know it's impossible to stop people from doing it but this is my way of trying to minimise the amount of debris left on the track. From my experience with the game, I have noticed a significant increase in debris since the off-road tyres became common. We've been racing without off-road tyres for almost a year and we've managed just fine up until now.

Really the only thing that we should replicate from F1 - other than driving respectfully - is using those two supercars, and the points system. Qualifying sessions, tyres, etc is just going to needlessly complicate things.

The tyres is just my personal battle to minimise debris as much as possible. It's a losing battle I know, but I'd be annoyed at myself if I didn't try Your opinion on qualifying has been noted, it's now 1-1 for and against.

How will qualifying take place? We can decide the starting grid ._.

Qualifying (if it happens) will be as follows:
- Qualifying will be a 4 lap race, but of course, we won't be racing each other. - You'll have to make sure for yourself that you have enough space between the driver in front of you and the driver behind you to set a clean hot lap. So, if you're in a Zentorno and the track suits the Zentorno, and you see a Turismo in front of you, you can expect that you'll catch up with him fast. Make enough room for yourself. - Because it's a 4 lap race, everyone will have 2 hot laps. Lap 1 is of course a warm-up lap, lap 4 is the cool-down lap. - Don't finish until the official gives permission: everyone needs to finish, so we'll have to gather up towards the end of the lap before we all finish. - The person with the best lap time starts on pole, 2nd best lap time 2nd, and so on.
The first 1:15(ish) of this video should give you an idea of how it works

Non-contact would also work. Personally I find it easier to race with contact on and not half half ghost cars up my arse lol but it probably is easier to just do non-contact. When the main race starts nobody moves after the countdown. We rearrange into starting order. I will place sticky bombs in front of pole position and detonate them once everyone is in position to signal the start. It takes more time but it does create a great start to the race where boost starts aren't relevant. Throttle control and knowing how high to rev to get a good launch without wheel spin play a big part. For me it is a really fun addition but that is why I am opening it up for debate. I have a feeling some would enjoy it and others won't. This video from about 12:00 should show how it is done: P.s. Take note of the white Comet (that's me ) on the right, 5 places ahead. I got a great start and made up a couple of places going into the first corner.

On the tyre discussion I think we should bar the use of off roads for this event. Any other tyre would be fine as long as they are road tyres
Not to put turismos at a disadvantage, but I think the grid should have zentorno's in front based on their times and then turismos based on their time. So as not to cause am accident on the straight or first corner when the zentorno's try to pass because they are so much faster.

I just want to clarify that this won't overlap into the APEX GT series that I know you're a part of as well Pun? You reckon we can get qualifying and the race done within the hour as that starts an hour after this? I like living on the edge but damn, this might be cutting it fine If not then I'll give up my spot as we're already two races into the GT series and it would be a shame to drop out.
