I didnt know the Sentinel XS had such a large fanbase... I think because it's the best looking coupe, and one of the few cars in the game that could truly pass for a real life car. I bet most of us have owned it atleast once.

Stock that is true. Turns out not to be the case fully modded. There isn't even a separate line of code for the XS so it's a very strange occurrence. My guess is some of the body mods (roll cage, bumpers) are affecting weight, inertia, body roll, suspension rebound and damper force, etc. Of note, the Sentinel's also have the best in class Clutch multipliers, ie the best stock transmission. But I agree, I always knew there had to be a difference in the two, why else give them separate names. Not every car with hardtop/convertible in the game is given a separate name. (Rapid GT, for example) But most are. I'm starting to wonder if there's a difference between the Zions now too, (the hardtop Zion is badged XS), and if there is a real weight difference between the 9Fs beyond what we perceive. Nope nothing to do with that. The Sentinel XS just gets more acceleration (visible in the stat bars too) than the regular version. The regular zion is officially called just the zion btw, no XS, and there's no difference between them. The sentinel is the only variation that is different.

I have the Cabrio right now, I've been trying to find the hardtop for awhile, rather than buy it... especially since I want to take an in-game photo of the car... but for now I'll settle on this image, which isn't the best: I know it's labeled Zion, but I was referring to the badging on the car, much how the Sultan, once roll cages are put in, is badged the Sultan RS. Also, the acceleration differences in the Sentinel, you see those in game? Of course, this brings up completely then... is this spreadsheet accurate? Are there hidden values somewhere else? The game may only pull the same handling data, but obviously there are different cars with different models and different id hashes.

The sultan gets an RS badge but it's still just a sultan. We can only go on what the game is telling us with the official car names. No idea why it's different for the XS. Could be a bug or a hidden special feature. Pretty sure that spreadsheet is accurate since it's pulled straight from the game code. We haven't got any info (code-wise) about modifications so we can't say anything further on why this is the case with the XS. All I know is that it's different.

I'll end my hijacking of the thread and turning it into a car statistics debate.
