Here's my latest creation, Declasse Raceway. I know I have a couple million tracks, but I actually only have a few that I made as proper, serious racing circuits (With their variations, of course). I'm pretty sure most of the tracks I make are offroad races which isn't really a NODO thing, although I might make an offroading event, but that's besides the point. Anyways, my serious race circuits include Grand Tour, Off Campus, Vinewood Hills GP (such a creative old gen name, right?), Bayside Circuit, and the perpetually incomplete Crossing Turfs circuit, formerly known as Compton GP. I felt like making a new one, and here it is.
The idea for the track was simply to make a track in the center of Los Santos that was medium sized, fairly challenging, unique, and not shitty. I hope I've done that, and I'm not sure if I have, so I need you guys to test it and tell me. Perhaps you can run it on the weekly playlist and gather feedback or something. Anywhere I need to change props, add props, remove them, move checkpoints, change a corner, or whatever.
So the track begins by the news offices used in LSGP, and goes into Rockford Hills to start, where you go through some chicanes, hairpins, and a few straights. Then the track goes west, through the bumpy shopping district and past Richard's Majestic towards Del Perro. There are some tricky corners, such as the left hander by the police station that looks much faster than it is. On that corner, if you run wide and hit the barrier blocking a pole, you go soaring into the air instead of stopping dead. This is something I am experimenting with as an alternative to people having to reverse and rejoin the track in a very dangerous spot. With this system, you will fly down to the road on the other side of the building and you can rejoin in a safer spot, and of course it is absolutely hilarious to watch someone get launched in the air. It's like the infamous "skrub trap" on Grand Tour where you can fall off a cliff if you run wide. If people don't like it though, I can change it. After that, the track winds back to the city center where there is a very fast corner around the Maze Bank with a lot of bumps, which I'm not sure if people will like. It takes some getting used to, and it is easy to mess up and end up in HUGE trouble, but I think it is fun especially when you get it right. After that corner, there is a hairpin, and a straight leading to another hairpin which brings you to the ramps onto the upper level of the city center. The track is then divided into the PIT lane and the race track, where the track limits are marked off by cones. After this section, you go around the red and white parking garage, and under the bridge is another corner that may need tweaking with props. Currently it is set up so you can't cut the corner and take it flat out, but if people complain about it, I might need to move the props into alternate spots. Finally, the track finishes with a right hander onto the start / finish straight.
And of course, here is the SC link: rsg.ms/1ddc075
