Galileo Circuit SouthConsole: PCPersonal best: 1:37.214 // Turismo R // V1.4 This track is inspired from the reversed, shorter version named Galileo Ring, i have added a pitlane at checkpoint 7-9. the track is fast paced and can be raced with any class, tested on Supers w/ Turismo R. The lap times are ofcourse different for each car, but expect to get 1:35 - 1:45 with the Turismo R. Circuit video (V1.0)
{ Patch Notes } V1.4-After alot of pitlane testing and feedback from this awesome community i decided to change the pitlane to checkpoint 7-9, it's the most balanced location available. -Increased distance for some tirelines to make higher speeds possible. -Removed tirelines at first shicane. V1.3.1-Smoothed out pitlane to allow higher speeds. -Edited track description. V.1.3-After some testing made the pitlane seen in the video on the other side, you can go past it with high speed and enter it with high speed, so when you enter the pitlane you don't hold up anyone behind you. V.1.2-Replaced the pitlane from observatory to the long straight at checkpoints 25-26. -Minor prop replacements you probably won't notice. V1.1-Better balanced pitlane, still at the observatory. Thanks to janx93 i've come up with the current pit location, he made a version of this track aswell, located here.

Looks nice, just a little changes here and there and it would be really good. Looks like pit would not work out though.

Yeah, i did balance it out a bit already so if you would take the ideal lines, without taking the pit you would most likely drive on the sidewalk, and people leaving the pits would be going fairly straight on to the road and there for not making any collisions if you have eyes, but thats most likely something i would have to see in a actual race instead of on paper.

I agree with janx. Judging by the video both the entrance and the exit of the pitlane are dangerous. For entering the pitlane people will have to brake hard on the racing line in an otherwise full speed section. The exit makes the track narrow and the tire barrier makes it difficult to see if someone is leaving the pitlane. I would suggest finding a different area for the pitlane. The track itself looks good, except for using tire lines at the exit of a turn. Those things are sticky if you hit them.

I'm gonna look into those tips, i might move the pitlane to the other side and have some other barriers that make cars more visible.
