 Introduction: Hello everyone and welcome to the second season of One Hour Magic. This season will be bigger and better. Introducing two new classes to the general format, GT7 & GT8. We will have 8 rounds over 8 weeks across 8 teams. Everyone will indeed have the chance to drive in each GT once. This championship was held on Ps3 earlier this year and had one of the closest team finishes I can recall since joining NoDo nearly a year ago. Enough of this stuff, let's get into the details. All information regarding rules, cars, dates, tracks or anything not posted in here will be on the official spreadsheet. ( Spreadsheet ) That is the primary place for rules, race calendar, championship tables, car choices, GT allocations, sign-ups, modification restrictions and pretty much everything else. This thread will be used for discussion, video/ picture sharing, press releases etc... Information to know!! Concept Thread: ( CLICK HERE!!!) Next Round: Saturday, July 23rd @8pm UTC Class: Sedans Any details such as cars/tracks are subject to change which is why I suggest not practising until the teams have been drawn, from that point. There will be no changes made once teams are drawn, what you see on the spreadsheet is official come Wednesday June 1st. If you can't make at least 6/8 rounds, please sign up as a reserve. People who have competed in previous One Hour Magic events will be givin a priority in participation as a permanent driver. A list of people who are eligible for priority can be seen on the Driver Historical Stats Tab on the main spreadsheet. All excess links for tracks, or anything relevant will be linked in the spreadsheet too. UPDATE:I have decided to drive every race in GT1, as it's easier to start the race every week starting last. I will be my own team, and will be in both championships. ( teams and individual ) If under a team requires a reserve the week they are GT1 and couldn't get someone, I will fill in for them  UPDATE 2*: lloydhco369 will join me next race on Team Pig Pen. Since I known him for a long time I'm letting him race. If he does cause issues for people I will not let him in future races.

Round Three Information: Abandoned Motel next to train tracks, or the Sandy Shores runway hanger. (pending on gang attack spawns)
Formation Lap: I will lead everyone around a shorter formation lap at a slow pace following this route:  Everyone should take this time to get in their correct starting positions, which can be found on the spreadsheet.
Grid line-up: From the point at which I stop, everyone should line up behind in a staggered order with your teams. One team behind the next. Race Start: A sticky bomb will start the race for each class, each class is only allowed to go one at a time, unless otherwise said beforehand. (for example, 2 classes are of the same pace and my testing could not find a big enough gap to separate them) Race End: The race ends when the timer finishes. Drivers should keep racing until their car is forcibly stopped by the game.
Disconnections: If someone disconnects during the start phase before we actually get the race started then unfortunately that's just bad luck. We won't be restarting. However if 2 people in a single class or 3 people overall disconnect a red flag will be declared and we'll attempt to start the race again. On the second attempt it would require 3 people in a single class or 4 people overall for another red flag to be declared. If a third attempt is required we'll be starting the race regardless. Specific Vehicle Regulations: Asea - No stickerbomb bumpers/fenders/w/e - Muscle or Tuner tires only - That is all, all cars in each class should look the same, but not mandatory. Reserve Drivers: If anyone does need a reserve driver you can find a list of each class on the first post of this thread. Reserve drivers start in the position of the driver they're replacing. Sign me up Welcome to Nonchalant Dominance Here are some useful links to get you started properly. First and foremost, if you haven't done so already, give our Community Guidelines a read. After you've done that, it's time to pick up that promotion, so you won't be kicked when the next purge comes along. You can find all information in this thread. You must become eligible to participate in this and all NoDo approved events on the Events Board. Once you become eligible you can be officially a reserve driver in this championship. I will tag you in the OP for my convenience. But if you don't complete the steps and someone tags you asking for a reserve. I can't let you take that spot until you are eligible. |

Update: Round Three testing complete. Gaps testing THURSDAY AND FRIDAY at 8pm UTC/4pm UTC. This also serves as a good practice session. I reccomend that everyone partake. This gives a general idea on how much editing I will have to do for the real race the Saturday. Since we a lot of un-lapping to do, the race will still unpredictable. Priority List Update: The priority list has been updated with all the new reserves being added. The list can be seen on the signups tab on the spreadsheet. The first list was randomized with the top 5 spots based off of the history of the format/championship. Now the entire list is mostly based off that. So some people are lower or higher than they were before. Deal with it. Finding reserve drivers for a single race is still the good ol' first come first serve approach. However every reserve must be contacted/tagged at the same time. Everyone deserves a opportunity to take part.
