I actually wanted to ask Broughy to consider blocking that gap with a barrier as well as the lampost so it cant fall in the middle of the road and ruin other people's races which has happened so many times (honestly its by far the most common incident on that track) and resulted in altering the results of races. Not only that but I believe that squeezing between tight gaps ruins the feel of the race track. Personally I think that the track would improve massively by putting a barrier there as well as the other tight gap that is right in the end of that long fast right hander, at the entrance point of the slow technical section under the green building. Probably not getting done this gen or for this race. Next gen I am hopeful however.

parksguard its just 2 barriers and 5 mins work, I am sure if @proughy1322 decided to make that change that wouldnt be a problem.

With a higher prop limit on next gen, Broughy might block off the corner cuts however I highly doubt the track is going to change on this generation. It's certainly not changing before this weekends event. IMO the crossover is what causes the biggest problem on this track, however this shouldn't change. I think for next gen Broughy will maybe design a track that has a similar feel to LSGP however not include a crossover or any corners where the lamppost is close to, or on, the racing line. With more types of props and more of them to use I suspect we will see a better version of LSGP on the next gen.

Lol cost you second place when we where racing in the rain, but you did hit it Completely agree though.

Why bother trying, I knew this was coming...
I would like to hear Broughy1322 opinion on this. Why the short cut, is that more important than the lamp post that always lies in the street?
Well, as someone who can only make that move less than 20% of the time, I tend to go around the pole. However, those that do not take the line between the buildings can cause just as much trouble if not more if they go to wide in their exit and take out one or two poles on the left side. Not only is diving between the poles faster, but the exit is safer and smoother too. So both have risks. My opinion is block it off, not necessarily because I can't do it consistently. I think it should be blocked off to make the track a bit more.... professional? Realistic? Diving between two poles at over 100 mph is not something we would see in real circuits obviously. If the poles could be removed, I'd be happier with that, which leaves the best line alone. This isn't an argument about whether this game is an arcade racer or a sim racer. Let's just focus on the safety. That's why there is now a pitlane and a yield rule for the crossover (That so has to go in the next-gen remake). Hey, Round 4 took place on LSGP. I did not take that cut a single time with the Bullet, and I did myself a huge service. Cuz Craig was taking it, and he crashed there at least once. I don't know how far apart we finished, but had he not crashed there it would've been a lot closer. So I say don't take it if you can't do it properly. I only take it if I get a good run out of the previous corner. It's very risky and it ain't worth the loss. I would like that corner blocked, along with other lines that include a pole, but I'm kind of an extreme when it comes to this, as I prefer clean tracks with clean lines 100% of the time. Broughy will definitely not change it now, and I kinda doubt he'll ever. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Nothing is going to be changed until next gen, when more stuff will be changed than just a few poles blocked off. What vxwk said is pretty much right.

I took that corner cut everytime in the rain while driving the bullet. Never hit the pole or building. Cannot say that for every other race I have done on LSGP though.
