Im not involved in this series but I was wondering why you made it specific to one car in each class? I would've made the faster class open to any car in the class and the slow class have an approved list of cars to use if they're close in time like for sedans it could be the super diamond, surge, premier, and asea because their lap times were very close in the fully modded testing.I think it would introduce some variety into the races because different cars would have different strengths and weaknesses.

Based on car's performance and availability. No point in opening the field up because everyone in gt2 would use the second best car available still making them competitive against gt1. Broughy wanted a distinct multiclass effect.

There's a gap between a building and a lamppost on the first corner and i thought I could go through it and go quicker than going around the outside of the lamppost but I hit a bump, lifted off the ground and then hit the lamppost which caused me to flip upside down, land on my roof and explode. Not my finest moment :/

Just missed the CP I find it not to not be worth the risk.Even if you do make it true explosion free you usually end up hurtling into a wall or missing the checkpoint.

Thats why I think there should be an approved list of cars for gt2 that are close in performance between each other but are still slower like my example for sedans they're 10th-15th i think and are only seperated by .7 seconds in the fully upgraded testing

Besides with only two cars there is only driver skill involved.

My thought was that each car has its strengths so it would lead to a more interesting race. Some cars are faster in a straight others through the corners and others are in between so it would depend on track and driver preference.

That is possible especially if it's within a "boring" class or set of cars, people won't care and will just go for the fastest. But if you have an interesting selection or cars with similar pace but different positive attributes (e.g a car with good handling and average acceleration vs a car with good acceleration and average handling) we'd have a diverse range of cars

One of my own examples is for gt1 muscle, based on what ive experienced stock, id rather race the blade than the dominator because the dominator cant go around corners without sliding. So you either run the risk of spinning out or you have to go slower.

Dominator is much better than the Blade, any track with straights in it the Dominator will dominate, the Blade is ugly, handles like a boat and causes too many crashes.

I agree it is ugly but using it stock i really liked how it handled. I dont have the money to upgrade and test them myself or else i would.

I think the idea is interesting too, and I believe that this fully modded testing series Broughy is publishing may have some of this in mind On the other hand, as some people have already said, fixing a car has it's own good parts: you make it all about driver's skill. In real life we also have competitions where you can enter any car that fits into the given rules and others where everybody is driving the same car. Both are attractive to me.
