Sorry I couldn't make it this week, my internet is still down. If it's still not working in the morning I'm calling my ISP. It was supposed to be done by now.
Sounds like a real incident-filled bunch of races. I know I wasn't there but it doesn't mean you have to make up for it!!

Broughy1322 I think it was around lap 10, right in the middle of my battle with lancer I almost hit you when you were coming out of the tunnel. If I did then I am very sorry and will take any penalties that apply. I had complete tunnel vision focusing on fighting for position I completely forgot where I was on the track until you flashed right past me. So again, sorry if I did hit you on your screen. Yeah you hit me but don't worry about it - it was the cleanest hit I've ever had coming out of that tunnel. You'll see on the replay that I literally just keep going straight on with a slight jink to the left. Got a bit of damage from it but it didn't cause me to lose too much time. What was worse would have been almost hitting Meh Ryan in the closing laps of the first race after I'd just taken the lead and he failed to slow down before the tunnel. Good job I braked haha. The only other incident of note for me across both races was with Trowa I think - still not sure whether I actually hit you as I didn't on my screen but apologies if I did. You were honking your horn a lot which is what made me think that's the case, but until then I honestly didn't think I'd hit you or you lost much time from it. The rest of both of my races were clean. Just tried to stay out of trouble as much as possible. Only having to get lapped by two GT1 cars on the PS3 helped I guess, but I was alone for a lot of that anyway. That first lap though. Jesus. Never seen anything like it. I was just picking my way through cars throughout the entire first two laps after purposely holding back going into the first corner. I'll admit I'm not a fan of muscle cars and I was going into this one knowing it would be probably the class I was least confident with, but it seems others were having issues too. That car/track choice may have to be re-evaluated if we ever do this again. Yeah you murdered me. I dont want to talk about it.

I filled in for Shred on the Merryweather team this week and as far as I'm aware, I will be doing the same next week.

Points now updated: bit.ly/multiclassinfoBe careful when reading the results and working out points, since it's best of 5 and we've now done 6 rounds. As a quick example, it may seem like double can outscore doodle by 3 points to level the score, but in reality he needs to win the race to convert his 2nd lowest score of 7 into a 12 (+5), taking him to 51 points. Because then doodle's 2nd worst score is a 1 he can increase his overall total by up to 11. So even if he gets 4 points for finishing 5th he will still increase his score by 3, to 52. All I'm saying is you have to take into account the fact that you will still drop your second lowest score. If you score higher than it you'll increase by a few points and if you score lower you'll stay on the points you're on now. Only those who have done 4 rounds or less can increase their score by the amount they will actually score in the race.

You guys need to end the Xbox GT1 with a bang.

There was a moment in yesterday's race where I went past the tunnel exit moments before someone came out of it. There was enough margin. However, when I reached the next braking point, the glass in my left door exploded (lol). I was wondering if there was a collision in the screen of whoever was coming out of the tunnel and the damage transfered somehow. Don't even know if that's possible but...well, it's GTA after all

LancerEvoWRC That was a great battle we had going on for several laps! It's a shame you crashed out towards the end because you were positioning your car perfectly when defending. Props for that! Yeah Pundip, I really enjoyed that battle too, but you were a bit faster than than me, so you would probably passed me sooner or later anyway

Pundip You have every right to unlap yourshelf and battle with me and I have absolutely no problem with that, I actually liked the little battle we had because it made my race more interesting. From what I can remeber I lapped you and made a small mistake right after so that got you right next to me in the main straight with you having the inside line for the first corner. We take the corner side by side and approach the harpin with me again on the outside and you on the inside, I manage to keep next to you on the outside and after the corner we are both wheel to wheel on the pavement (you were a bit ahead but I was still clearly next to you giving me the inside line for the next right hander that leads in the tunnel). Anyway back to the place of the collision, we were both on the pavement and I was in a tight gap between you and the wall, I dont know if you knew I was there but I was right next to you should have probably seen me, what I noticed though is that your car was slowly angled towards the right making my gap smaller and smaller until I had nowhere to go and as a result pitted you. This is what I saw on my screen at least, I just wanted to say that the reason I didnt stop was because I believe the accident was your fault and not because I was one lap in front.

Here are the first 10 minutes of my race btw if anyone is interested www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIcgs3AbklY . Basically what I did (except avoiding all the crashes at the start) was push very hard the first 20 and then slow down for the rest of the race just focusing on maintaining the gap.
