This is a dumb comment/hype but: Oh_Darn's Yacht! Dress code formal!Even though I probably cannot commit that almost made me sign up. I hope active reserves are also invited, and that it features open bar and those shrimp things.  |

OK so one of the tough parts of being an event host is having to be a bit like this guy: .jpg) The intent with SATCC Season 4 was to return the grid to its special roots and not just make it a competition for a few increasingly tense egos. This is why I made sure the guys who understood the good ol' days were integral to the planning, and why we got Pez to find the best and brightest personalities for the Young Driver Test. I don't have time for people who only want to win, fuck everything else. I don't have time for guys who get angry and salty over nothing, which is why some people didn't make the cut this time around. We're racing in GTA, it's arcade racing, and we're putting emphasis on enjoying ourselves not on being the best of the best. We're in NoDo, we're already in that category. So when Superstepa_ signed up quite late, it threw a spanner in the works. Stepa is no-bullshit and no ego. The issue is... I can only expand the grid to 28 and we're still risking DCs as a result. But people will retire over time, and I think this crowd is mature enough to avoid first corner AIDS (I was proud as fuck in Young Drivers how clean those first corners were). So, Divait, I need to apologise publicly. Had Stepa not shown up you'd have a seat with jsantospt - it would have been a condition of the Furore team being approved. Stepa, however, did come back to us and he's a veteran of all previous seasons. He needs to be here which is why I tagged him a few times in the past 8 pages. Stepa, Santos, you guys need to chat via PM and come back to me on a team name, car, colours. Divait, you'll be top reserve which is a shitty consolation prize. I'm apologising publicly so you know I mean it. It's not fair but the issue with hosting an event is you have to do what's right for the whole event and that means sometimes saying no to people. |

Love the mix of cars we have this season. Seems like we have all cars except for the bottom 4 alpha, sultan, furore and rapidgt, that's pretty exciting and i hope there won't be too many changes after tests Also I'm glad about the raise to 28 drivers, i'm sure everyone will do their best to make this work. btw endersai did you see my post, signing us up for 9f for now? |
