Yes, so I had barriers on the inside which people wanted moved so in cutting the corners people missed checkpoints. I didn't miss any, so... The strange thing was that most of the time I got the checkpoint, even while scraping against the inside barrier. But 3 times it just didn't register

Next Master's will be on a track idea I shared with Oh_Darn around the Tongva Hills. I want to see the Pfister 811 included in future events, if possible. What I need to know from everyone except Sugar_Free_Nos is what they thought of the KERS-style boost pickup? I ask because in future seasons of SAGTC we will look to use KlodenTech in all pits, and add the boost if it works out as a net positive. the KlodenTech makes farming the boost utterly unprofitable, but gives you an extra edge in overtakes. When I saw it used today, the best example was when Cloud and Darn used it to pass me after their first pit stops. They knew they were on a different strategy and didn't want to lose time to the leaders, so they deployed it tactically and usefully. that's how I envision its use anyway - question is, for everyone except the guy who used it at near full speed on the straight, did you get benefit from it? Just in case it was missed.

Should have had rocket pickups instead of boosts tbh

Then you could fight back against @pezby. Ridiculous notion.

I really like the KERS like pickups =) The first one I used was to pass Iceman on a straight, only to have him riding my ass in the corners and using his to pass me on the next straight. =P But I really like the added tactical element it provides and I can stand behind including it in future events.

2 out of 3 boosts didn't worked out for me. (The one I used to screw up Sugar_Free_Nos was the only one it worked as I planned), mostly it was my fault. An interesting system, I'd like to experiance a bit more with it, before it gets implemented in an event. I don't know how KlodenTech pits would work with the boost, I'm not sure. (We don't have pitbays, so how are we going to stop people farming those inside the pits?)

Great event, was fun. I did not like the concept of "pressing W" in pits as each time I pit I could observe that I lost over 7 extra seconds to anyone else who was also pitting. And I am sorry for one dangerous re-entry to Sugar_free_nos as I saw space for my re-entering but my car was somewhat stuck near the tree and in time I got from there he approached and I almost took him out. ... question is, for everyone except the guy who used it at near full speed on the straight, did you get benefit from it? He is talking about me! I pressed the button by mistake. I am not used to have this (li)ability. The second time I pit someone stole the boost from out pits (#1) just to hear him saying sorry while I was leaving the pits .

I like the pit lane and the team bays, they are a nice touch, but that could be improved. I didn't like having no reference about how fast or slow you have to go (bushes at the pit entrance could slow you down to a given speed and then you'd have to keep that speed, or something like that), and it's hard to see which bay is yours (by the way doompenguin , check the OP, it's you who mixed up our pit bays, you scrub!! xD). The boost are good fun, it adds some depth and it's well balanced. Oh also thank you cloudmcshort for telling me that I missed my checkpoint back in Blaine County lol! I was already in Grapeseed by then, not sure when I would have noticed! I missed it twice, not because I was too greedy but because I was battling. I think having a barrier on the inside of a corner is really important so I know exactly where the limit is even if my brain is busy with something else. Good fun and good race overall :)

JiffiRacing Press Release Yesterday our team raced in the Crowex Master's Series. Unfortunately our first driver Divait was unable to race this day, so we had to call our reserve driver Nick420Guy. Despite his solid performance, there were a few complications. Our new second driver RichardQG had a very bad performance, resulting in a last place finish. Apart from some technical issues, he made to many mistakes, resulting in a change in the pitstop strategy. We wanted to get 3 early pitstops so we could focus on catching the other teams. However RichardQG crashed after the third pitstop, resulting in a heavy damaged car. Therefore we had to make a forth pitstop, while losing even more time to our competitors. We also failed to make good use of the new DRS system.
In addition to this, we expected our car manufacturer Overflod to produce a faster car. The Overflod car had a decent amount of traction, but unfortunately it very much lacked in engine power compared to the competitors Pegassi, Progen, Vapid and Grotti. As a result of this we've stopped our cooperation with Overflod and are now looking to a new car manufacturer. We have also broken the contract with RichardQG after just one race, because of his terrible performance. There have been rumors that the reserve driver Nick420Guy will become the new second driver in the JiffiRacing team.
In all seriousness: Thank you very much Nick420Guy for replacing my teammate and thank you endersai for hosting the event! And of course thank you @pezby for not blowing me up when I was driving a but to fast the first time in the pitlane It was a fun race, but unfortunately I had a total of 6 (!) screen freezes, resulting in a time loss of 10 seconds on average each time. So I lost 1 minute with that. In addition to that I also missed the famous chicane checkpoint, while I had a small battle with Tony (it only happened then, but not in any of the other 29 laps). About the pitlane: It is a very interesting idea. However the one problem I have with it is that the speedboost replaces the horn. It happened to Dnl_Jackson when he was trying to warn me he was going to lap me and he accidentally used the boost resulting in him crashing. I have also accidentally used the boost a few times when I did't want to do. Apart from that I think the pitlane could better have those bushes that slow you down, rather than having to hire @pezby every time to rocket the hell out of everyone ;
