I'm away at the moment and will update the drivers/teams on return (Jackson etc).
Story I was clear with you how things would go. If you are unhappy with the seat I can give to someone else but I'm not making changes again just to suit you.
You did this with the Spa race, accepting event rules then whinging til I allowed you to change cars.
You signed up and agreed to the event rules. That meant you agreed to not drive a green car. Nobody else is being high maintenance. Pls just settle down.

When I made my post asking if I could represent Sprunk, plenty of customer teams were still open. Even if you didn't want Sprunk in the competition, it wouldn't have been a stretch to place me within a customer team where I had some say over the livery. As it is now, I'm the only person who has voiced a preference over team colours yet those without any preferences have been given customer slots when they would have been just as happy as a factory team. I never had the choice of my team mate in all of your events, thing I wasn't really against because I'm fine as driving with everyone in this crew, but it's still something that I have no selection. Again, you make me with someone without informing me, and even him is not aware of teaming with me lol. When everyone else is teaming with someone of his choice. In the SATCC I can understand, but a normal event like this.. You were CLEAR about the uncertainty of making the Sprunk team in the event, you didn't added anything else about me driving a non-green car. It can be nothing for you, but it's the only thing I really want to enjoy my racing on GTA. Put me in a bad car with someone who speaks chinese, I'll still drive it and enjoy with a big smile on my face if my car is green and the event full of competition. I get the feeling this was to spite me, like all the derogatory comments I'm regulary enduring, IF you really don't want me in your event just ask me and I'll go my way, and if I'm interpreting this bad I'll just tell you that I refuse to drive in a team with a car I don't like and a mate I could not choose. If you want to put the SPA race on the table, at least say the truth, my choices was Turismo and Zentorno, you put me and my mate in the Turismo, but it was during the Grotti F1 where I was always driving the Turismo in gta (practice/playlist/races). I asked you nicely if I could go in the Zentorno instead, who was always my favorited car, even now, saying I'm totally fine if you say no. You told me to ask my mate about that, he accepted the new choice,then we both changed the cars. Any whinging in that, if you're doubting you can still read the thread and my pms. I don't need to quote everything because I exactly remember that. I thought we were all enough matures to not interpreting demands in that way. All I did was request a colour change.. since when a different colour of a car can ruin the organisation of your event ? Even more contradictory when we know that half of the teams recorded have still not given the colours of their teams. Yes I'm done, it's not just about the colour, it's the principle. |

Because I need to balance out 28 drivers. I need to ensure the strongest cars (Zent/T20/Osiris) don't have 2 strong drivers to dominate - hence why I did, however, put Stepa with likely Ovivo.
There's a reason I put you in teams rather than asking you to form them for this event. I have grand plans, Story, and they're not always visible. It's all for the greater good.
See it as a positive that you're chosen as a factory team driver - they have faith in your abilities!

OK guys, the event is now full. I still need a pit watcher/safety driver - Daleks (@darkalex45) are you still interested? I've got to amend the track to add two new pit bays to it and will also stack a second sand fort atop the existing to give you the best perspective over the pits. You shouldn't have a tough time of it.
st0cking did you want to join as a reserve or as a pit watcher? I'd trust you to keep order in that pit lane!
As fab. ICEMAN is possibly not free this weekend, Dnl_Jackson is also a reserve for Progen Racing and that will free up a reserve seat for a T20 driver in the customer team.
The event is still 3 weeks away so there will be dropouts etc - reserves have a decent chance of being called up to race.
To all customer teams - can you please advise me of the colours and sponsors you're using?

I might offer last-minute/hour turismo reserving (still no plans for buying any of the other cars as of now).
While i have nothing against pitwatching in general, you gotta remember i don't use a mic. So i'd have to type out times (are there waiting times or do they just drive through?) and/or warnings/penalties which some people will see as a good thing while for others it might just be distracting.

No, so the pit lane is supposed to be at half throttle, and drivers are supposed to use their team's assigned bay only. Using another bay because it's closer or your team mate just pitted and picked up the wrench/boost is not a good reason to use another bay.
So if you see someone speeding or you see a team use Bay 1 because they want to save time, you just type out "ENDERSAI - T20 - WRONG BAY" or "SUGAR_FREE_NOS SPEEDING IN PIT LANE" and we'll see it. Once we see it we'll say "drive through penalty".
We could also agree a burst from minigun or LMG is a warning to slow down. It's not the end of the world:
"If the pitwatcher fires warning shots, you're too fast and must slow down" or something.

The OP will be updated and obviously the names will be applied to those customer teams as released.
The pit is explained in post 1, but I'll repeat it again.
The right lane of the pit is used for travelling; the left is 12 bays now (will be made 14). The bay consists of a repair wrench and a speed boost.
Cars travel at 50% throttle down the right lane until they reach their booth. They then swing in through the booth on the left and rejoin on the right.
If another car is in the right lane they will have to wait until it's safe to rejoin.
Double stacking of team-mates is possible however only one boost/wrench per pit - to best to call out your pits beforehand so your teammate knows.
It is highly recommended to practice pit stops with your team mate so you can easily identify your pit stop bay before the race.
The track, like Sarthe, isn't difficult per se. It's a long race so strategy is important. Hence why you get one speed boost in the pits and not one each lap - and why the pit has a speed limit, to prevent farming it. You have to be sure when you deploy it that it's the right time.
