OK, I've updated jeffreyb1990. Can you please confirm your understanding of pit rules? Which pit rules? The one where you farm speedboosts, the one where you go full throttle through the pitlane or the one where you take a random pit box?

Cars travel at 50% throttle down the right lane until they reach their booth.
So I can drive up to the pit lane at full speed and then start applying 50% throttle when I get there? I see no other rules detailing exactly how fast you should actually be going, other than "50% throttle", which is both hard to accurately judge and probably different depending on the car you're driving.

GTA Traffic speed. So definitely not full throttle. Unless you're in a Regina. Then full throttle is OK.

Yes I heard, unsurprisingly, people were looking to abuse the concept. I'm doing a rework but what's necessary I suspect are videos of current F1/WEC pits showing how you slow down. For practical purposes once the dirt becomes tarmac you should stay in the right lane in first person with your speed at 80 according to the speedometer. You can speed up again at the Speedophile flag. It's meant to be a real pit lane so people abusing it (I don't mean you Smithy) claiming to be real racers are kidding themselves.

UGH. For practice purposes, not practical. Stupid phone. OK, so. This is how you pit. You will notice when Vettel hits a straight line at the pits he slows down considerably, even on slow entry. He stays in the pit lane before swerving into his pit box. For this race, you are 100% expected to slow down when the pit entry goes from dirt to tarmac. Maintain 50% speed and 50% throttle. Stay in the right lane. Move left onto to enter your pitbox. Rejoin the right lane once you've collected your wrench and speed boost and it is safe to do so. Meaning another car is not in the right lane passing your pit box at this point. Here's an unsafe release video for comparison: Daleks (@darkalex45) - based on these videos, I'll have a double stacked sandfort ready for you to get perspective on the pits. If drivers are not respecting the slow down and pretend it's a real life pit lane rule, then feel free to warn or punish them. If they are farming boosts but insisting they're only at 50% throttle, give them a 10s stop go penalty. You only have access to the boost in your pit box, guys. If you don't pit like the Vettel video Dark Alex will have my blessing to destroy your race with penalties. In short, just because you can be an exploitative faux-racer doesn't mean you should be.
