I made it clear each team has a single pit bay, and they should be in the right lane. So the people doing that, probably patting themselves on the back for being so jolly clever, are actually stupid in ways that we'll tell our grandchildren about one day and those grandkids will doubt it's even possible, let alone true.

You go in. You cross the dirt to tarmac. You lift off until you're driving slowly*. You go down the right lane until your pit pay. You swerve through it, collecting wrench and boost. You go back to right lane unless unsafe to do so. You get to Speedophile flag and go back to full speed/full throttle.

(* how slow is "slowly"? Drive in first person at no more than 80mph through there until you can do it instinctively. That's slow enough)

You try and exploit this and Dark Alex will penalise you. I almost feel I also need @pezby in there to be zero tolerance for dickheadery.
