(COMPLETED)[PS4] WRC V | The Classic Return | Sat, Aug 20th

Welcome all new-comers and veterans. After a successful Rally styled trilogy of events hosted, the WRC V Experience has returned to San Andreas after a short absence. However, those who relied on their modern Imprezas and Evos with power steering, fancy suspension and a chassis that doesn't try to kill you every corner will find it different this time. A return to the classics, the good old days where you would be happy to complete a stage without injury rather than a decent time. Head-to-head goes the 1970's RWD Legend Lancia Stratos (Lampadati Tropos Rallye) versus the 1980's Group B machine that revolutionised rallying with AWD, the Audi Quattro (Obey Omnis). Two teams go wheel-to-wheel to find out which one is the greatest rally car of all time.

Summary:

1 Rally event in the style of the previous events ( see here ) in the Lampadati Tropos Rallye and Obey Omnis (2 teams split evenly).

1 RallyX race in the new modern Grotti Brioso R/A.

The WRC Power Stage will last roughly 60 minutes, with the RX race lasting roughly 15 minutes.

Pre-Lobby open from 4:00pm UTC/5:00pm UK Time onwards for a 4:30pm UTC/5:30pm UK Time start.

(Those in the One Hour Magic event at 8pm UTC will have plenty of time to have dinner/break after the WRC V event before taking part in that).



Rules/Outline:


A traditional Time Trial, where a racer will go one by one to complete the downhill circuit as fast as possible. You will be given a time when to set off, each driver will go at a 2 minute interval, someone will watch to make sure you don't jump start. You will then race as fast as possible to the other finish gate, marked where I will be standing, taking notes of the finish time, where you will then pull over and watch the rest take their turn.


Times will be calculated after the event has concluded, which I know is an annoying wait, but this is as authentic as it can be for a WRC event. It will either be streamed so I can take not of everything after the event has concluded or I will record everything and determine the times through watching it back. I expect a lot of people to not join because of this waiting, so please think hard if you are willing to sit around waiting before signing up. Anyone who races then quits will be disqualified from a result. If you disconnect after finishing you must show proof of you disconnecting through video footage. Finishing will be a drag race from the Gate to the final CP, sticky bomb start to have a bit of fun



Track(s) and Restrictions:

The WRC V Power Stage track will remain secret until the event to give an authentic first-time rally experience.

The RallyX track will be Pegasus RallyX (LSIA) by Cornelis-A-S- (link: rsg.ms/af5933f ) with two mandatory jokers (10 laps in total).

The Lampadati Tropos Rallye and Obey Omnis must have it's stock wheels

The Grotti Brioso R/A can have any wheels you wish except off-roads
