After my favourite ever whip (Vauxhall insignia) which I believe is the most beautiful car in existence, hence the profile picture. This Lowered GTR is sexy as fuck and would gladly have this as my car. If only I could afford such a thing. Although one day, I will have an Insignia and will come back here to post a picture of me and my baby even if everyone has abandoned the forum. Life goal that is haha! The GTRs tend to depreciate quite a bit, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. However, their maintenance schedules and costs border on the absurd. Most exotics are like that, however. The 2015 GT-R is also the third fastest production car at the Ring. Remove the two race cars from Radical, and there's only 1 car that is faster: the 918. Gotta pay to play.

Gotta pay to play. One caveat, that record is set by the new 2015 Nismo GTR. However, the 2011 base GTR isn't much lower, and still surrounded by markedly more expensive vehicles with the ZR1 being the exception. I know, I'm splitting hairs here. However, you'll get no argument from me about paying to play. It's the nature of the beast, but our thirst for blurred backgrounds demands this price.

It didn't. I want it to, but McLaren would have released the time if it did. Or they know the car can go faster and refuse to release a time that will make it seem any less better than the 918. I can hope at least... sub 7-minute lap only needs 3 seconds to beat it

I even paid a lot of cash to get a McLaren F1 hat sent to me from the UK. The P1 is my favorite hypercar, but there's no way McLaren beat that lap time and didn't announce it. The 918 is at a huge disadvantage on paper, but the Ring is not a typical track. The AWD traction along with having one hell of a driver at the wheel with Marc Lieb is huge at that track. There's also rumors that McLaren couldn't sustain the electric output over the course of the track. McLaren said they achieved a sub 7-minute time, but I think that was achieved running the Ring in segments, not on one flying lap. The 918 even beat the P1 at I think Anglesey a while back. Then McLaren got pissed and threw new tires on the car, which then destroyed the 918's time.
