I'm looking at getting a used '95 MX5 as a first car because they are cheap, fun, convertible, and Japanese so they hopefully won't be a "money pit" for repairs like my grandmother's Ford Five Hundred. It doesn't help that I get an MX5 ad at the bottom of each page... but damn they are expensive. An old used Miata should be about 5-10k I believe, at least the one I want for dem pop up headlights, but the new one is 23k and IMO doesn't look as good.

There's a bit of a bubble on MX5s right now. Could look at e30 or e36 3 series too.

An old used Miata should be about 5-10k I believe, at least the one I want for dem pop up headlights, but the new one is 23k and IMO doesn't look as good. My buddy just bought a '95 Miata with professionally done supercharger, fresh internals at 60k miles, it had 4k miles on the new internals. He gave $4800. There's two Miatas on my local Craigslist for under $1500. One needs a bumper and a hood and has quite a few miles, the other one is just rough. If you give five grand for an NA Miata it better be spotless. Otherwise message me on here and I'll find you one local cheaper and deliver it. In other news, just bought this sickass whip. Chicks can't resist it. I couldn't start it to ride away from the pizza place I first visited on it, pedaled out of sight then took a look because it was making an odd throaty noise. The carb had fallen off of the intake manifold. Crammed it back on and it was weak on power but took me to my dirt driveway, at which point I killed it and pedaled. Turns out all I needed to fix it was a flat head screw driver. Thought the autochoke was stuck as well, turns out you gotta whack the throttle wide open to open it. Aaaand the idle is too low and I can't find an idle screw.

Well it's private land but anyone can get on it but there is a field at the top of the hill which the farmer gave us permission to use a bit of the land for a jump and a berm. That section is no longer there. Infact there's hardly anything left of the track. The 4x4s have just wrecked the place
