Another garbage performance. I like doing this, it's fun, but it also irritates the hell outta me. I've never quit out on a race no matter how far back I am, but it's frustrating when I put in practice to keep improving my lap times only to get my doors blown off by everyone once the race begins. I had several laps in this race where I was all alone, yet my best lap time was two seconds slower than when I was hot lapping for practice. I know I'm not the absolute slowest guy, but I always end up near or at the back because anyone who is slower always quits. I'm starting to wonder if I should just give up on this shit. 
Anyway GG to all. If the pace issue is the main issue. Dont give up. Just keep trying it. If you continue on trying to improve, you WILL improve at some point. If you hotlap alone, maybe add one or two people who are usually quick and ask them if they can help you. Maybe they know about a line you dont know yet. Everyone went through that.
If the main issue is that you dont reach those times while in a race. Maybe it is just a mindset thing. Maybe you want to drive your best practice times so desperately there, that you just get too strained and dont reach it. (at least thats what I have sometimes)
Like I said, dont give up. It is always nice to see people with good spirit who drive until the end, no matter what happens. 
Nah, it was kind of an empty threat. I'm not going anywhere. I usually get by with self-deprecating humor when it comes to GTA racing, this time it was just a little more irritating than usual.
Thanks for the advice just the same though. Appreciate it.
