I would really like to know if the car actually becomes better without a turbo. Same goes for suspension upgrades, people have been debating if those help or hurt a car for as long as I can remember too. I was racing my Turismo R last night. My friend said it was sparking like crazy, even though I couldn't see it on my screen. I think the Turismo is one of the cars that doesn't need it's suspension lowered at all from stock. Lol... It's like you were riding on the rims... Slowed ya a bit as well.

Just a rare glitch... No worries unless you have to respawn

The F620 among, I'd assume, a few other cars probably benefit having less max power output. I remember being in a freeride kind of thing on a track during rain with one of my brothers and his little 200hp Mazda 323 managed to just barely outrun, to my surprise, Audi Quattros and a few other cars that were tuned to hell (probably 300-400hp+) despite them being AWD/4WD. When I asked him, since he's a pretty experienced driver, why he said that he can just floor it and still have grip to spare compared to the other cars, giving him a more consistent pace unlike the others having to crawl through the turns. So taking that knowledge into games it might be better to use slightly weaker cars on tracks with a lot of tight corners and next to no straights. Maybe this is what different previewers were talking about when mentioning "overtuning", as in making a car too powerful for its own good? BTW Jon check the game mechanics thread. on page 2 you'll find some info regarding suspension upgrades and how it alters the physics of cars.

At trackdays, I see literbikes passing 250s on the straight, only to be passed up by 250s going WOT around the same corner. The ultimate race machine is not only the fastest in the straights, but also the one that can carry the most corner speed.

Traction divided by drive force. A car with a low number is too powerful for the traction available. Vice versa, the car can't take advantage of the traction it has available.
