I just watched the 50-41 ad one of my favourite cars the F620 well, I couldn't agree more it takes all inputs, takes them as suggestions, and shreds them up to throw it back in your face all while cscreaming at you.
However, remove the Turbo an it becomes so much better in all aspects. I was so surprised when I did that ages ago, and it returned to being one of my favs all round.
But what really got to me was how much of a difference turbo made, I mean I don't get that at all when dealing with other cars and turbos. So I was wondering what other cars in this game get such a turbocharged boost/crash in their performance?
---
Also another point is why not have superchargers in the game? I mean I knwow that superchargers were originally known as turbosuperchargers and work off the same principle of boost through aircompression, but they are mechanically different and affect a car through turns differently.
It would certainly add something to the game considering some cars such as the Peyote end up having 'supercharged' on their sides once they've been turbo'd up.
--
Sidenote:
This is a VERY GENERAL Difference between Turbo and Superchargers (incase you were wondering)
TURBO: Relies on exhaust from engine to spin a turbine that creates the compression boost. Effect: When the gas is on, the boost pressure will increase and released, drops. This makes Turbo more effective for acceleration exiting corners.
SUPERCHARGER: Mechanical; so long as the car is driving, regardless of throttle the compression is always on. Effect: More consistent boost pressure, very effective for entering corners at higher speeds, however this consistency comes at the cost of lower boost compared to a regular turbo

You should add electric superchargers to your list.
As for superchargers, they generally do not have much lag in boost when compared to turbochargers. The negative aspect is the mechanical drag they cause. The Hellcat supercharger requires 80 hp to run

Given the already expansive nature of the game I think differentiating between a turbo and a supercharger would only be appreciated by a minority of the intended audience. Further it would likely confuse those who aren't familiar with the differences.

I wouldn't be against an option to add a turbo or supercharger. There are already modifications that you can add that make a bigger difference in performance. Adding a turbo or supercharger for certain cars on certain tracks can make that much more of a difference. A lot of randoms I race with, even a secondary race crew I'm in, claim there's no difference between suspensions or wheel types. I've even heard a race crew claim that off-road tires make you slower than the others. With how expansive this game already is, adding anything possible may benefit the 'all-encompassing' genre

I'm very aware of the aura of an all-encompassing game, I'm usually the one who actually expresses that in other thread, but this was floating in mind for awhile, especially when I continuously experimented with the F620
I'm serious Turbo makes or break the F620 and it was so vital towards this car's performance compared to every other car in the game, I wondered why is it the only one where removing the turbo actually makes it better? Dev error, pehaps they forgot to update when they released the effect of turbo boost? Perhaps it was going to be something more like what we saw with the F620?
It just seems like adding that other level of Turbo would be so interesting. Especially since Rockstar was smart enough to acknowledge some smaller details that I've noticed in this game compared to others in general, so I guess it irks me that they would just label all turbos as just turbo.

It doesn't gain speed, but it does become a completely different car. An F620 with and without Turbo are completely diffferent it's amazing

That's debatable which is a motivator for why I made this thread

I tested the F620 in a strait line
without the turbo fully modded was 18.06300
with the turbo fully modded was 17.77800

Try a couple of laps around Cutting Coroners GP with each version.

I would really like to know if the car actually becomes better without a turbo. Same goes for suspension upgrades, people have been debating if those help or hurt a car for as long as I can remember too.

I have to choose a different track, I chose Cutting Coroners GP and got practically the same times of 1:22 on both non-turbo and turbo times, ten laps each
Admittedly I got 1:21 with turbo but only as a one-off lap.
I believe I need to choose a different track since my line doesn't allow me to really test the difference or even feel it in the car's handling.

My friend said it was sparking like crazy, even though I couldn't see it on my screen. I think the Turismo is one of the cars that doesn't need it's suspension lowered at all from stock.
