Copy-pasting my comment from Krizz ' video here and adding more stuff The Rapid GT is made of paper mache so the tinest hits can give you suspension damage. Rear suspension damage in the Rapid GT makes you go insanely fast since it causes the car to infinite curb-boost even more than. This is why slamming it makes it faster, you're literally breaking the rear suspension Also adding that generally the car drives worse when the suspension is broken but I think if you break it in just the right way you won't lose too much handling (it's not exactly like there's much to lose in the first place eh?). Of course, when it's like this you won't be AS fast as a fully slammed Rapid GT but you'll be faster than non-slammed Rapid GTs. If you slam it the car is completely undriveable and all the time it gains in the straights - even on a track like Spa Classic - is immediately lost the moment it has to attempt a corner. I think you just got super lucky with that hit Krizz and the chances of getting that lucky are miniscule. Also it'd be super hard to test this further since it relies on, well, luck of the hit. The more I think about it, the less I think the Rapid GT should be in this event. It's a fun car but it's so broken and inconsistent

I suppose the pre-lobby starts at 7:40 right? The times in the OP seem wrong.
Anyway I'd like to sign up as a reserve please :)

Hey Kebab, are there any restrictions in terms of wheel type or other upgrades?

Hey Kebab, are there any restrictions in terms of wheel type or other upgrades? No restrictions. Still working out a potential change of car for GT3, if so, there will be a restriction on that car.

Kaleeb42, do you alraedy have an alternative track if R* doesn't fix the GTA race issue before the event?

So R* has fixed the slamming/lowering your car by shooting the tires now. After I tested that, I wanted to see what happens now when you damage a car like the Rapid GT now. I will just copy and paste something I wrote about this in another thread.
So maybe the Rapid GT should be more viable to be used for this Event now?
Edit: Ok I just bought the Rapid GT, fully upgraded it and tested it again, it´s exactly the same as with the stock version I tested today. The only difference is that with Armor upgrades it just needs more hits for enough damage. Edit2: It´s not 100% the same because in the fully upgraded Rapid GT you dont need to turn as much, compared to in the stock version, to get the boost. (tested with stock and lowest suspension on the fully upgraded Rapid GT)

I think the more important question is, is it still affected by framerate? Easiest way to test would just be do a highway race with a V12 and if the V12 pulls away then the Rapid GT is 100% fixed

Easiest way to test would just be do a highway race with a V12 and if the V12 pulls away then the Rapid GT is 100% fixed I just tested this, we were both running at 60fps (capped at 60, but my PC can´t hanlde more anyways) and the Rapid GT was still much faster (acceleration and top speed). But to do this on a straight you need to do something like a wiggle boosting, so keep going left,right,left,right.. all the time, because if you only go straight forward you won´t get any boost now.
