I'll try get some clips for you if I can What do people use to record again? I use NVIDIA shadowplay. It's the best recording software I have ever used. It has EVERYTHING that I want, the quality is amazing, the recording file size is incredibly small, it's easy to use, and last but not least, It has shadowrecording. ( this means that it always records, and it saves the last 1-20 minutes when you press a button). I use shadowplay from the Geforce experience v2. The new v3 is god-awful. You need an Nvidia GPU of atleast gtx600/700 series (not sure). A good alternative is OBS, but recording with OBS will result in a significant performance decrease in game. It was also really difficult to understand for me personally. If you have an AMD card you can try out their recording software but idk how good that is. then there is also fraps, but let's not talk about fraps. lastly, you can record with the GTA recording tool, and then record that with anything else because performance wont be an issue then. OBS isn't that difficult to use, especially when you're just recording. And if you get the settings correct, it makes higher quality recordings than Shadowplay, but Shadowplay is by far the easiest to use.

AMD user, don't know about the recording software tho, I heard its nice though. Using ingame replay is annoying to me honestly, and the action one only saves half a minute :/ Will look into this

I have my nvidia shadownplay timer set to 2 minutes and I have never had a moment where I didn't record enough. (have gotten close a few times though). But I agree that the ingame recording is annoying, since it's made by rockstar. l0l

Not to mention the long ass loading times for when you managed to record something and want to watch/edit it. Again very familiar rockstar style to make sure everything has to load for atleast 30 seconds.

Don't complain about rockstar and the editor, is an awesome tool that rockstar have provided us and if it takes 30 sec to load is for a reason. Anyway, I think the NVIDIA recording thing is the best way for me, unfortunately in all the things I recorded I had my mic on so I'm singing there, and I don't want people to hear me singing. Next time I'll share my footages.
