Thanks endersai for hosting the event, it's been probably the most enjoyable event I have ever taken part in since I joined NoDo. Some of the battles I've had over the course of the season has been phenomenal and I couldn't of asked for more out of an event. Thanks you so much Divait for being my teammate; you have been exceptional all season and I couldn't of asked for any more as a teammate. And a final huge congratulations to fab. ICEMAN for his first championship win, Oh_Darn for being to fast and consistent and Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) for getting a strong 3rd position. See all you guys next week for the awards ceremony Edit: I will get my videos up sometime next week as I will be away all weekend.

First of all, GG fab. ICEMAN ! Or should I say, Mr. Champion? Secondly, yay! The team got points! Though, it was all thanks to Ganjalo . Thanks for joining me after Tspoon decided to retire from the event. We've done less practice sessions together than I wanted to (which is pretty much, none... =P) but I hope you had fun, I know I have. =) And lastly, I think I owe beta1hit an apology for Del Perro after Ender's lag took out all those cars in the hairpin. Watching back my stream I think I saw my car fishtail and as a result bitch-slap your car to the side. All in all, really good season and this last weekend was probably one of my best weekends in terms of starting. I saw quite a solid start on both tracks (especially Rocky Walls) but quickly lost positions due to me being off pace and very poor pitting strategies. =P Anyway, here are my POV and three highlights of this weekend, more to come (which reminds me that I still have to do last week as well... x.x) POV: See! I can overtake people when they're not choking! endersai helps me gain 4 positions and my car bitch-slaps Beta. Yep...

This has been an event beyond my capabilities. Having only participated in one-off events or something different ( cough redlaserbm cough) I have to appreciate endersai for doing this. Holy fucking shit - this must have been a whole lot to coordinate and communicate. At one point, I was considering to leave SAGTC, after fucking up race 3 & 4 and not knowing how to explain the results (no points, starting positions in the last quarter of the grid) to the two-times champion Ovivo. But I wanted to stay. I wanted to be a part of this racing action. After race 4, I re-gained confidence in myself, and then decided to be a permanent replacement driver for Pegasus racing after the Mid-Season Break. I had a great race on Rocky Walls, and was somehow able to finish 12th after starting in 18th. The thing I wanted to do once - finish in the points in SAGTC - had been achieved. After a rough start and a couple issues on the last race, I decided to just retire, and recorded an amazing view of the first corner (footage see below). Also - since I reserved for fab. ICEMAN in the first two races, I'm champion as well now! Beat that - winning the championship by finishing 19th and 16th Thank you very much ender for hosting a great event, thanks to everyone I was able to reserve for (and fuck up their starting positions for the next races...), and thanks to everyone I had battles with. If the next season is at a timeframe that fits me, I'll definetly join! Race footage (Del Perro is until I retired):
Spectating the first corner on Del Perro: Edit: Tonyborbony don't worry, Del Perro has been horrible ( I choked very interesting things, right Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) ?), you might remember I retired after half of the race.

Goddamn this feels good. Firstly; I want to issue a big thanks to the following: The_Bad_Loser - your work on the end of season voting and spreadsheet has been invaluable this season. On behalf of all of us, thank you. Oh_Darn, ovivoJR, redlaserbm, Tonyborbony, Dnl_Jackson, fab. ICEMAN and The_Bad_Loser - the strategy group are essential to keeping this event running and I couldn't have done it without you. My thanks to you all for the hard work and support. Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) - your work in testing cars for us is not unnoticed and I wanted to thank you personally for being one of the many behind the scenes people in this. I just wish you'd told me about GT over TC sooner. Now. Story time. Back during Season 3, the title winning partnership of myself and Darn was coming to an end and I sent a PM to a guy I knew from before we both joined NoDo. Come drive for Progen, I said, and we'll get you a title. Season 4 was rocky. The Comet was not to his liking, and results didn't go our way. But season 5, the Seven70 was much more to his liking. We analysed our opponents. We timed out pits to perfection, and you could see it today - the first pits in both races were called and left this guy ahead of his main rival, Oh_Darn. Big congratulations, lots of pride and respect, and thanks to my team-mate, the season 5 champion FAB.ICEMAN!!! You deserve this mate, well done. fab.FIVEMAN was the magic number. VOTEYeah so definitely vote ahead of next Friday's awards ceremony. Whilst we know who the Driver's Championship, Constructors, and YouTool Fastest Lap Awards all go to, the rest is a mystery. So. Yes. VVVVOOOOOTTTTTTEEEEEE. Much <3 guys. Oh and here's the proper BLK Rocky Walls:

Wow, what to say... I'm plain stunned. First of all, thank you endersai for your 110% support through the whole seasons. You always helped me to get back up after a wasted race and you were so grateful when I managed to get top positions. You were always on my side and I won't forget that. And also big thanks for a great hosting! Secondly, much respect to Oh_Darn ! It was an unbelievable tough fight for me, especially the last one on Del Perro together with Grim. You showed great sportsmanship through the whole season and I can't say how much I appreciate that. I'm proud to have raced against you. Also a big GG to Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) , you get better and better every season and it's a very hard one to drive against you. And of course special thanks to ovivoJR and Dnl_Jackson for spending countless hours of practise sessions with me. I had a really good time with you and wouldn't have won the championship without you! Last but not least, thanks to everyone who I had the pleasure to drive with. The quality of racing was quite high and I couldn't complain on any lapping progress or whatsoever. You are great guys and I enjoyed the time I spent with you. That's it, there is the title and happy Iceman is happy!

I'm not sure what that black guy behind you is doing Iceman.
Season 5 was special season in a number of ways. We saw our second and third drivers join Ovivo as being part twice now of Constructor's Championship winning teams:
OvivoJR won in Season 1 with Benefactor and Season 4 with Pfister Oh_Darn won in Season 2 with Pfister and Season 5 with Junk and Grimreaper977 won in Season 3 with Augury Insurance and Season 5 with Junk
We also saw a new champion to the ranks:
Season 1 - OvivoJR Season 2 - Oh_Darn Season 3 - doompenguin44 Season 4 - OvivoJR Season 5 - fab.ICEMAN
(interestingly enough; Iceman was runner up in S1 to Ovivo; Ovivo was runner up to Oh_Darn in S2, and Oh_Darn was runner up to fab.ICEMAN in Season 5)
And we saw a tie for 3rd place between Grim and rookie sensation Zenvohh.
These reflections at the front of the grid shouldn't take away from other battles. For example, starting from Pillbox Hill onwards, Obihoernchen and P4ulin4tor ensured every team in SAGTC had points finishes this season. Everywhere we look, there are positive results.
If you enjoyed this season, then you need to get out an vote in Bad_Loser's spreadsheet! And we'll see you at the end of season awards.

Mad props to endersai for hosting this hallmark event, despite my misfortune and lack of competitiveness this was very fun to be a part of. Can't wait for next season!

First of all, congratulations on this well deserved title, fab. ICEMAN! I won our battle for 3rd last season, but this time you were the faster one. We had some amazing battles throughout the season, and I enjoyed every single one of them Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot to me. Nothing but respect for the champion. endersai, scrub of the lords, thanks to bring yet another shit filled season to a nice end. A lot of time and effort goes in to hosting an event of this scale. GG's on bringing home the title to your first driver for the second time, too bad you didn't get carried to the constructors title this time. Also props for my teammate Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) for helping me winning the constructors title. We spent a lot of time practicing, exchanging setups and winning races. What else do you want from a teammate? Last but not least, it was a huge pleasure racing against all of you. Hopefully until next season!
