Going over the track with ganjalo yesterday, we noticed there's no secondary checkpoint in pits for respawning.. How is this supposed to work if we can't repair our cars?  in a 45~min nascar race i think its inevitable that you need to repair 1,2 or even 3 times so we wondered about that. couldn't find anything about that in the OP either redlaserbm |

Any of the top drivers care to share their setup and/or laptimes for this?  I felt like i suffered quite a bit from wrong setup in last broughcar. Also i only just noticed we won't be running spoilers  i didnt see that until just now so we might want to check if everyone is no-spoiler before we start. Team announcement coming later today I am getting 49.2 as my fastest lap, but I think 48s are possible How the fuck are you doing that? My fastest lap is 51.8  |

-No offroad tires or spoilers are permitted. -The Shakotan exhaust is forbidden (it looks like shit) -Damaging your vehicle before the race to gain a competitive advantage is explicitly disallowed.Nothing was said about damaging your vehicle during the race. I had taken 5 pits already, and was stone dead last. After my front-right suspension broke for the 5431th time, I decided not to pit and just deal with it. After a small tail incident I hit the tires, and also broke my rear-right suspension. This allowed my Ruiner to go full on 'old re-7b with offroad tires' mode, and go flatout through every corner. That also explains the -3 second advantage over literally everyone else. So no, for anyone who was wondering, that's why. Furhtermore, I really enjoyed this event. Had some good battles with V8/Vee_Snowtail, and also had a few amazing saves after I almost reverse entry'd a corner. Thanks redlaserbm for hosting as always, and I'll see you lads in the next race. |
