Post-Race Investigation Results

1. GalantEvo has been issued a warning for dangerous driving for these two incidents.

2. GalantEvo has been issued a warning for actions detrimental to the event for intentionally damaging his suspension mid-race to gain an advantage.

3. GalantEvo will be issued a 10-place grid penalty to be enforced on the next race he starts for receiving the two warnings above.

4. GalantEvo has been issued a 20-second time penalty for failing to wait in a timely manner for positivetension after being called out. This penalty is harsher than usual because positivetension was a lap ahead of Esperante and blue flags had already been deployed. Further incidents of similar nature from this participant may result in suspension or removal from the event.

5. @zenvohh will be issued a 5-place grid penalty enforced on the next race he starts for passing before the start/finish line on a restart--after illegally overtaking three people, zenvohh fails to give back one of the spots in a timely manner.

6. @zenvohh has been issued a 10-second time penalty for this incident between him and benimi. Further incidents of similar nature from this participant may result in suspension or removal from the event.

7. Sunken has been issued a warning for unsafe pit entry during his first pit--this is a judgement call here but I think it's the right one.

On Penalties

As you may've noticed this event does not really have a strict system for penalties. That's because we (me and Prutoog) tried that for the Redwood Cup and quickly realized the strict system would do a bad job of issuing fair penalties if we stuck by it. This is actually the first time since July where I've had to issue a penalty and the first time I've had to issue multiple since March, so it's the first time in a while this (lack of) penalty system has been put to use.

If you received a penalty, don't do that shit again. Realize that you fucked up, get prepped up for the next race, kick some ass.

It is possible that I may've missed some calls. Sorry, if that happened, but I can't right every wrong. Not everyone here is capable of recording from their POV, so it makes these calls a little tricky since sometimes I don't have the footy I need to make a great call.

On Driver Competency

It was humorous looking through the footy for the right and wrong reasons to see a quarter of the field wash up into the wall while the rain poured. This post serves as a reminder that not crashing is more important than trying to get all you get in the corners and accidentally squishing a competitor between you and the wall.

On Post-Race Investigations

Give me timestamps in the future if you send me footage to look at it's difficult to sift through footage looking for the shit I have to look at. Again, don't try my patience if you need something investigated I need to know right away after a race is over if you intend to send something my way.

Pretty happy with how the race went after messing up in qualifying and starting 17th. All my pits ended up being under safety car which helped quite a bit although one may have been a bit of a mistake as it left me towards the back of the pack. With 21 cars on a tight track, its hard to remember many laps where I was in clean air.

It wouldn't make much sense for me to retroactively assign him to Blue Ark for race 1, not when Blue Ark had a full team for that race. He started for Debonaire in race 1, so his driver points go to Debonaire for that race. Whatever team he starts for in race 2, that team will receive his points. The system is such that possible mid-season team swaps, drop-outs, or scenarios where people may not be able to make all the races can be cleanly accommodated. (Yes this means there's a possibility one driver might drive for multiple teams through the championship, but from what I gather a large portion of people in this event don't care too much what team they're a part of for what race.)

One of my pitstops i got hit from behind and slided towards pits with someone inside me and decided to pit then. If it was not for that im sorry for that and i will take care of my pitstops in the future

you should not get a penalty cuz you did nothing against the rules or even race. but don't worry i got us 22 points. Btw if u know someone who could reserve me next race hook 'em up.
