Not sure if there's many on here who are even interested in E3, but thought I'd make a thread just in case there are people interested in discussing it & what not. nodo.freeforums.net/thread/2868/electronic-entertainment-expo-2015Oh there's definitely a few that are interested, especially me! It's not that far from where I live but I wouldn't be able to go anyways ): Awesome stuff though, I'm looking forward to Xbox stuff but more so games like Mass Effect 4, Halo 5, Battlefront 3, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and especially Kingdom Hearts 3 ^.^
Edit: Can't forget Fallout 4... how silly of me ^.^

Would like to see some more VR stuff from the show. As always I'm hyped for Halo 5, Mass Effect 4, and Battlefield. Would like to hear what happened to quantum break. I think this was the name of the game.

Writing this here for those who were either asleep when Bethesda held their first showcase, or wanted a recap.
DOOM
Release date: Spring 2016 id Software is making the next DOOM under the same mantra: Big Guns, Awesome Demons, and Fast-paced action. Two demos were provided, alongside one trailer for the arena (UT/Quake style) multiplayer. Because DOOM has one of the strongest modding communities to date, id Software is allowing EVERY player to become a map maker with their own easy-to-use, available-at-day-one mad editor called SnapMap.
SIMGLEPLAYER DEMO:
MULTIPLAYER TRAILER:
SECOND SINGLEPLAYER DEMO:
SNAPMAP TRAILER:
BATTLECRY (LET THE CONFUSION BEGIN!)
Fall 2015 Created by the BattleCry Studios, BattleCry is a team-based action combat game. As of the time of the showcase, BattleCry was being tested to a select few in Australia and New Zealand. However, soon, a closed beta will come out where a select amount of people will be able to participate. Sign up by June 18 if you want in.
GAMEPLAY TRAILER:
DISHONORED 2
TBA Dishonored 2 is a sequel to the original Dishonored (duh!), in which you are wrongfully accused of being an assassin. What's the best answer to that? To become an assassin. Most notably, it features two protagonists, both of them with different inhuman powers, the first one being the returning protagonist Corvo, and a new one named Emily. Corvo shares a lot of powers from his last appearance, while Emily appears to have a grapple hook, time-slowing power, and crossbow.
TRAILER:
ESO
Already released. Over the next couple months, Bethesda plans to add the Imperial City (Oblivion nostalgia wooo) and Orsinium to the MMO. They also made a few comments about how the launch of Tamriel Unlimited went smoothly on the PS4 and Xbox One. Outside of that, nothing major.
ELDER SCROLLS LEGENDS (didn't I cover this already?)
Fall 2015 Elder Scrolls Legends is a free-to-play card game available on the PC and iPad, not unlike Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. It's set in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and ESO:TU lore (no mentioning of prior Elder Scrolls), and lacks any real gameplay yet. It seems, at least to me, to be a competitor to Hearthstone, which is absolutely huge on Twitch and to a lesser extent, YouTube.
TRAILER:
That looks like about it... Wait why are you looking at me like that? Did I forget something? I already covered everything big, I mean, DOOM, BattleCry, everything Elder Scrolls, and... Now I see what I forgot.
FALLOUT SHELTER
Available now Fallout Shelter is a game based on Fallout, and serves to provide a "Fallout Fix" to those who aren't patient enough to wait until the sometime-in-the-future release of Fallout 4. It's a type of resource management game which focuses on players running their own Vault, and they have to manage resources with their residents to guarantee maximum efficiency, and ultimately, their survival. Supposedly, the Idea of Fallout Shelter was first thought out way back when the iPhone was first released in 2007.
GAMEPLAY:
OK, So that leaves one final thing. The one we've ALL been waiting for...
FALLOUT 4 (And it's a doozie)
11-10-15 Yep. After god-knows how many years, Fallout 4 is finally nearing us. It promises a very high amount of uniqueness, with much more thorough customization tools than any other Fallout to date. I mean, you can take the 50 basic weapons (yep. 50), and utilize 700 different parts to make countless different combinations to suit your purposes. Make a Fully Automatic Laser Rifle! Craft a Burst-Fire-Sniper Revolver! The possibilities are endless. Not only are the guns customizable, but your settlement(s) are as well. Scavenge resources to be able to build up your own place in the wilderness to call home. Some of these locations, Bethesda promises, will be genuinely massive to allow people to create massive constructs. As a town increases, NPCs can move in and offer you their services (no, not THOSE kinds of services, dirty people) and serve as merchants of endgame content.
BTW, the Dog has a name. It's whatever you want to name it. Go wild internet. And NoDo.
INTRO TRAILER
GAMEPLAY TRAILER (which I rate 9001/10 for needs less epic)
... And that's all folks! Bethesda's showcase in a nutshell... and by nutshell, I mean TONS of videos. And Epicness.

As someone who grew up playing the original Doom, Doom 2, Quake 1, Quake 2 and Quake 3 in the 90s I am fucking over the moon for the new DOOM. It looks like a modern version of the original DOOM crossed with Quake. Proper old-school 90s arena FPS action (bunny-hopping, rocket-jumping), huge demons that shoot lasers, chainsaws, super shotguns, BFGs, hell, blood and guts everywhere, a loud rock soundtrack.... And to top it off, a really extensive multiplayer including a level editor. 2016 can't come soon enough. Watching those Doom videos made me feel like I was 15 years old again. Don't dare speak ill about Fallout 4! There I said it. Sorry!

Rob, I am mostly the exact opposite (I played a little Doom), but I am completely enthralled by Fallout 4's features. Where as I am only minimally into shooters. I will say, it's good that Bethesda is giving a lot of people things they want. Fallout 4 has easily become my most desired game, with Rock Band 4 coming in second, after this presentation.

I will say, it's good that Bethesda is giving a lot of people things they want. Fallout 4 has easily become my most desired game, with Rock Band 4 coming in second, after this presentation. I'm quite surprised by how much Fallout 4 appeals to me. I loved Skyrim and I've always heard Fallout is Skyrim with guns. I'm an absolute nut for post-apocalyptic science fiction with dashes of black humour and I really like huge sprawling RPGs set in an open world, so I know it's going to really click with me. As for Doom and shooters, I've always been a big fan of them but I've always been disappointed by how lacklustre and tame shooters have become. They've become far too easy and too cookie-cutter. There's too many grindy military shooters where you shoot the same nameless foreign baddies in the same snow / desert / urban environment, watch a cut scene, run down a corridor, press X during the quicktime event to not die, the end. This about sums it up: Leave it to id Software to bring back what shooters used to be like - big open arenas, health packs, no health regeneration, huge guns, a variety of absolutely huge and scary monsters, ultra-fast speed and movement. I can't effin' wait.

I also want to say that I'm really looking forward to Dishonored 2 purely on the merits of the first game which was utterly fantastic.
The E3 trailer meant nothing to me. It's just a bunch of cinematics that barely have anything to do with the final game.

I'm watching the Microsoft event and all it's really done is make me wish I could stay up for the Sony one. A lot of the games announced and showcased (Fallout 4, Dark Souls 3, The Division, Rainbow 6:Siege) are set to appear on both consoles, but you have to wonder how each company will handle it. Apparently Microsoft gets an exclusive beta for The Division which is pretty neat. Xbox's Fallout 4 will come with Fallout 3....but will the Playstation version?
Outside of specific games, Microsoft did a great thing by announcing backwards compatibility with 360 on the One. I seriously hope Sony has similar plans. The Xbox version of Steam's Early Access looks awesome too as I really wanted to try DayZ and Elite: Dangerous out. Other than that...the pro controller thing is pretty cool. I don't need/want one, but it's nice that they're giving people options.
I'm sure I'll have plenty more to ramble on about when I get up in the morning...

Microsft convention: OK, alright, had a lot of selling out, I feel, as there were lots of third parties showing off their games. Main redeeming factor is the now-announced backwards compatibility and new controller, but nothing else really worth noting. Gears 4 is confirmed, saw some more Fallout 4, and some Halo 5.
I'd rate it a B. Good new features, but the games seemed to lack promise. Also, EA was there.

I had an original Xbox and had access to a 360. I played Halo 1, 2 and 3 and absolutely loved them and would love to play them again in the Master Chief Collection. I've been considering getting an Xbox One for it but I've been waiting for the day when something else was announced to seal the deal. This conference wasn't it. Even Halo 5 didn't do it.
There wasn't much first party stuff and what they did have (Halo 5, Forza, Gears) made me shrug my shoulders.
The indie games looked really cool though, especially that Blind Eyes (or whatever it's called) and Cuphead.
The most exciting thing for me though was that Rare Replay collection. A bunch of classic N64 and even older classics. I regret selling my N64 - what I consider to be the best console that ever existed - and this collection brings back at least 3 games that I adored from the mid 90s.
Rare's Pirate game looks cool too.
The rest of the conference showed games that are either coming to all platforms (I want Dark Souls 3 although I'm concerned From Software are just churning out Souls games every year now, like CoD or Assassin's Creed) or are timed exclusives.
A B- overall.
