How dare people mod the game that they payed $60 for! Blasphemy! If I wanted aliens spaceships, cool machinimas, and handling mods, I'd play on PC!

Inconvenient, sure, but what do these modders have to gain from doing nonsense like this?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but the way I view it is they want to mod and exploit glitches in the single player, go right ahead, add as many giant rocks and UFOs to the roads, and spawn under the map as much as you want. It's not affecting me or anyone else. I personally wouldn't do it as I think it ruins the carefully crafted experience that Rockstar have made, but whatever. It's your game. Do it in multiplayer though and I think you deserve a ban. It breaks the game's logic and ruins other people's enjoyment of it. It's no longer just the modder's game, it's everyone's.

The only thing that seems to make sense for why they would promote a Crew that does these type of mods is that it's an inside job. Perhaps, it's people from within the company who are doing these nefarious deeds and the people they're recruiting will eventually be banned. That's the only thing that I can think of. As far as if it's a ploy to convert people over to next-gen, I hate to say it, but that's possible as well. Very shameful, but possible. Because one of the things to entice people over to next-gen would be something along the lines of, "Oh, there's no worries with the next-gen! We have more resources and time for the next-gen, so you'll just have to deal with the older version!"
It makes me cringe just to type that above paragraph, but it is possible ... I sure hope not! As the technology evolves, people are always going to be doing these sorts of things. I'm not sure why. It seems to ruin the overall experience for all. Sure, it's fun for a bit. But, as with everything, the fun will wear off and they'll jump on the next bandwagon to mess more things up and things of that nature. People just want their fifteen minutes of fame, it seems.

Pretty much everything Haydug says is sarcasm lol but yeah you have taken the words out of my mouth. Ive probably posted this same line of thinking somewhere on this forum and I know Ive said 100's of times in game on gta and basically any other online multiplayer game with similar issues in the past. Do that shit in singleplayer and gtfo of online.

It has nothing to do with R*. The ps3 and 360 are cracked, thats why mods exist. The fact that they are using them in game just means that asteroids and spaceships( which we already knew) are in the game. Basically every game on either console is hacked to a degree. Whether it be through use of a USB Flashdrive or flat out modded consoles, which neither are hard to do, they are all hacked. Every. Single. Game. The X1 and PS4 will get cracked eventually but right now not many modders are willing to drop $500 and risk bricking their console. When console prices drop and people begin selling them for cheap on craigslist you will see the x1 and ps4 get cracked, its inevitable. Even if they wanted to stop those modders they couldnt. All they can do is remove the code entirely (which they wont, no dev does this generally speaking) or change the code(which they do) and all that does is force modders to redo the process. Same goes for glitches more or less. Almost every glitch in every game post-production is forever there. The dev can rewrite code to make it less likely to happen or change the process in which it occurs but by and large glitches dont just disappear without massive amounts of rewritten code because when you rewrite one thing it changes everything and creates more glitches. Kind of like a hydra, cut one head off and 3 more appear. Sorry to shit on your conspiracy theory but its not just improbable its a bit crazy or you just dont know how mods work. Im guessing the ladder and I dont mean that in an offensive way but you just dont seem to know how a modded 360 or ps3 works. R* is kind of raping people in terms of money mission grinding to boost shark card sales but it is far from hard to make money on gta. You just cant make millions in a night anymore. Which honestly is probably is for the best because no one enjoys a lobby of tanks rolling around in free roam and it makes the game even more boring when making money is soooo easy. However to think they are trying to push the x1 sales by making 360 and ps3 versions shit is just terrible business strategy from every angle you look at it. Which I could delve deeper into that but I've already written a wall of text so Ill leave it at that for now.

What I hate is that the most popular GTA youtubers will get hundreds of thousands of subs just by posting a video thats three minutes long about a money glitch they found on a forum and claim it for themselves. And then other youtubers will post the same video on their channels. And they all just copy each other which makes it hard to get actual news about upcoming updates. I must have seen the same video on Cops and Crooks code about six times. The GTA community is a black hole of idiocy and kids with explosives. One youtuber NoughtPointFourLive even claimed the discovery of the super boost for himself. I was outraged at this. The modders that ruin the game should not only be banned from GTA Online but they should be banned from Xbox Live/PSN aswell. Most of the honest, hardworking youtubers remain relatively unknown. And don't get me started on the idiots who complain about heists or whatever not being out yet. They probably don't realise that coding is no walk in the park or that Rockstar have to fix all glitches that are being exploited. I want the heists and casino to come out aswell but I have to be patient.
Rant Over

Inconvenient, sure, but what do these modders have to gain from doing nonsense like this? This just happened on a race track. In free roam it's tolerable, on a track it's unforgiveable. FFS Rockstar, ban these idiots.
