Hi there peeps I am hopefully getting a PS4 soon maybe christmas time ish depending on funds. So as I'm sure some of our Crew members are already ps4 owners
What i would like to know is . . . . . . . . 1. Do ps3 games play on ps4? 2. Do you have to pay to go online i know there was talk of it before they were released. 3. Are they really as good as i hope they are? Graphics wise?

I've pre ordered mine and I should be getting it when driveclub comes out As far as I'm aware the answer to your questions would be: No Yes Depends on the game, but mostly yes.

^ This
I believe the subscription fees are slightly cheaper than Xbox as well (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). A yearly subscription to PS+, which you need to play PS4 online now, costs £39.99. That is less than the RRP of a game and works out at less than £3.50 a month. So basically if you intentionally skip out on buying one game a year you can afford PS+ with a little money left over.

At current exchange rates, it's about the same as Xbox, maybe a little more. Not sure about PS4, but you can get Xbox Gold at discounted rates (or at least here in the states). After a quick search, I found one for about £30.

And don't forget that PS+ not only gives you access to online but also free games every month for ALL PlayStation platforms (PS3, 4 and Vita). In the past those games have been triple-A, critically acclaimed things for the PS3 such as Bioshock: Infinity, Tomb Raider, Battlefield 3 - usually about a year after they're released. The PS4 and Vita at the moment has only been getting small indie titles but I expect over time that it will also start getting bigger titles. It annoys me seeing some people complaining about the quality (or should I say the production budget?) of the free games the PS4 when the console isn't even a year old yet. Of course you're not going to get The Last of Us Remastered free now. Maybe in 2015 though. Overall PS+ is excellent value for money just for the games alone, especially if you own a PS3 and PS4.\ Reading this back I really sound like some salesperson, don't I?

SakiBomb I'm pretty sure PS3 & PS4 have discounts available through certain retailers (Game for example) as well. I was just going by the official figures released by Sony

Xbox is doing something similar now, the games aren't quite as great, IMO, but I'm sure they'll improve the quality of the free games they give away. I know just this past week it was HALO: Reach they gave away free. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure there were thousands of people very excited about that.

Always buy PS Plus subscriptions or PSN credit from Ebay (or other Online-Shops). It's much cheaper than retail Same goes for Xbox stuff.

I just wished I knew how to get some extra income, it's the main reason I don't play Xbox and have no anticipation for a PS4.
