Been looking forward to this race, I'm going to be there.
I have been a bit miffed as well with my track's race being an associated victim of the drops. Was hoping for a little feedback since it seems like people are mum on the track.

Hey guys, I have some thoughts about season 3: Season LengthI am considering shortening season 3 to a six-race season in response to attendance rates during this season; I'd rather have less races with more people than more races with attendance spread thin amongst them all. Track ChoicesWith a shortening to 6 races I am considering not running any road course races next season. Oval racing is the main highlight of the event, I want to make sure it stays the primary focus even under a potentially shortened schedule. If you all have road course suggestions feel free to send them my way anyways, as otherwise, should I decide to include a road course race, I'm either bringing back Tsukuba or bringing back Arcadius. Grand Senora isn't returning, but Xero Speedway will return and will stay the season opener, and Lifeinvader is coming back as well. From what I understand this season, there seems to be a preference for the mid-sized to larger ovals. At the very least the racing product has been noticeably cleaner on these tracks, and truthfully it's a nightmare for me to handle referrals on two-thirds of the field like what happened with Grand Senora. Still, I want to make sure there's enough schedule variety so that drivers each week are tackling different issues on the race track. Vehicle ChoiceI am looking towards bringing the Ruiner back. The Gauntlet and Dominator hold a special place in this event so they'll definitely be back for season 3 as well. The slamvan may go bye-bye, not because it's a bad vehicle or anything but because of lack of schedule space and lack of appropriate tracks for the vehicle. I've heard some calls for the slamvan custom to be included, but for the moment being I'm satisfied with the racing other vehicles can offer. I am not interested in bringing back the Turismo; I was disappointed at the quality of the Indy Special race and no longer believe the vehicle can offer good oval racing. Race Format/Race Length/Event RulesI have considered modifications to the event format or race length--in particular, I've considered bringing back two-race weeks like in the Redwood Cup. For the moment being, I don't plan on bringing back two-race weeks but I might if people want them back. Pitting rules have been a major success this season in bringing a serious strategy element to this event, and credit should be given to firefly and FriendlyBaron for helping to craft the rules currently being used for season 2. I'd like to find a way to improve the rules (if possible) to make them less "borderline" in nature--in particular, to avoid situations like in race 2 where there were two groups of people, and one of which pitted one lap later than the other suffered a significant 5+ second deficit to the other in the end because of a perfectly timed safety car which permitted one group to take their final pit under safety car while forcing the other to pit under green. The Remainder of 2017There are two things I'm interested in doing with Broughcar before the end of 2017. One is hosting another one-off race if I can find a timeslot to work with--it seems the rest of 2017 is crowded with big events--to get people hyped for season 3. Another is seeing if I can hijack the daily PL for a day to host another Broughcar PL.

" As fireflaai is only capable of adding a maximum of 80 points to his current point total " Why is this?

" As fireflaai is only capable of adding a maximum of 80 points to his current point total " Why is this? Maximum score for the weekend is 100 + 5 bonus point. Your lowest score (which will be dropped for everybody) is 25. 105 - 25 is 80.

But his current score is already including the drop of his lowest score The Highest points he can get is 627 points. this is his current score + the maximum of 105 Points my current score removing the dropped lowest is 614 which means I need to score 7 points more than my lowest score 59 which is 66 which means I have to get at least 5th if Firefly scores a perfect round. Benimi firefly redlaserbmI have to also point out that if I did not get my 5 second time penalty in Race 4 I would have won this championship already.

Last time I checked on my calculator, 627-614 was 13, not 7 That means you would need at least 72 pts, so a 4th place finish would get you that by 1 point.

ALL participants (including reserves) currently signed up for race 8 are to let the event host know ASAP whether they will be able to attend this race. I'll be there

I had to check my math in light of the recent sequence of posts; the math was wrong, the current point counts already account for drop races. Grim needs to get to 627 points to get the title, and can do so by placing 4th or better. Only grim and fire can still get the title. grim is guaranteed to have at least 614 points after race 8, so fire must earn at least 92 points this race to have a shot. Corrections will be made to the OP. I hate math and drop races now. Grumples_Plox (grimreaper977) , firefly , key
