Haha. Evo X is superior in nearly every driving dynamic to the STI. The newest STI only just caught up, and the X is VERY old. And once you start tuning, it's really no contest.

But, the Focus RS is coming out and it supposedly will be AWD. Though, I don't think Ford's AWD will be as sophisticated as Subaru's.

Let grandma pay the bills for her Justy so Subaru can keep producing its all wheel drived rally canon. Absolutely no problems with that Funny to see commercials like that still

Karin Kuruma
Since it's not maibatsu it ain't no evo, and karin is toyota/lexus. Which would point to something more like a lexus IS F

However the bodywork is more styled towards the Evo X and 2015 Impreza STI. Performance wise I don't know what to expect, but I'm leaning more towards Toyota Celica GT-Four.

I'm expecting it to be a sedan on the pace of the Schafter I'm expecting either Sedan or Sports, like you said if it is a Sedan I'll also expect it to be one of the fastest in the class, but if it is sports, I'm thinking it'll be in the middle of the pack, faster than the Karin Sultan but slower than the Massacro and Feltzer.

I really want it to be on pace with the Sultan so we can do rallycar battles.

Yeah more rally battles
Sultans are really compromises between the WRX and Evo, some of the spoiler and hood custo come from Evos, but Subaru and Toyota that Karin is based on makes it more along the Subaru line mostly.
This seems more on the maibatsu line which is better for variety.
Also real world facts:
Toyota owns 16% of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) which owns Subaru Toyota exports its slightly more luxurious models as Lexus
Karin is a comglomerate-bastardisation of these companies in one

The front end is unmistakably Evo.
