A great example of what was discussed in the OP. Keep watching after the first one, it happens again on the next lap with a different outcome. Edit: And then again with another outcome on the next lap!

I notice i have a problem with trying to cut in on another racers line and and up spinning them out and I'm also heavy on the brakes even on tracks I know i sometimes have a habit of that.

Half.of.the accidents i see / cause are due to people.not accepting.that you are up.the inside of.them. basically choke you off giving you no chance to evade... You tap them. then get moaned at. despite it not being your fault

I stay clean. I don't nudge or bump. Funny you show that because on my screen, I didn't touch him. But whatever, I suppose. Maybe what I said previously was a bit too unrealistic, though I always try my best to not hit anyone.

Great race none the less! The worst thing is when you pass someone and you don't hit them on your screen and then trying to explain that you didn't hit them. Shit happens. Also I want you to know that the pictures are 0.4 miles from each other. None the less it still looked like you hit me on my screen the second before the second picture was taken, but that's water under the bridge, was nowhere near winning anyway.

Oynox When you hit another racer on purpose to gain a position on them.

Oynox When you hit another racer on purpose to gain a position on them. Me and my brother used to call these "Chicks" back when we were just kids. Chick as in "He gave me a Chick!" We named this infamous maneuver after Chick Higgs from the original Cars (there is no word for PIT in Czech, Khaleesi). Great fun.

None the less it still looked like you hit me on my screen the second before the second picture was taken, but that's water under the bridge, was nowhere near winning anyway. Not intending to stir any water here, so let it stay under the bridge. But personally in those kind of incidents I would give back the position as good conduct, as usually on GTA everything seems fine on the screen of the person who laggs when that kinda stuff happens. Atleast in my experience. So if I think my car knocked someone out by me driving up to close I let them pass me again at a suitable spot before continuing. In my opinion that's just good sportsmanship, it would be unfair if my lagg caused someone else to get messed up. If I was far enough away that the crash looked natural to me, and that I'm not at fault then I'll keep going. Winning races are the most fun if your opponents aren't crashing anyways As Broughy said on the 2nd page, if contact is made in any way then it shouldn't be a deciding factor to wether or not an overtake is made. If it is, then you usually made a mistake. We all make mistakes, and what seperates the great from the good is that they learn from their mistakes and adjust haydugjr : Great example!

I was wondering if we can add to the OP what the crew consensus is on a few racing-related exploits, glitches, and starting a race when racing with fellow NoDos. I've done quite a few races with random NoDos and those on the forums, and honestly, I never know what "in-crew rules" are in effect. To start, let's talk about the start. I've been in several races where I'm never sure if I should just rev my engine through Go, use the turbo boost, or utilize the ultra turbo boost explained by Trowa. Some NoDos rev through the Go, others use the turbo, but I never know what to use and always give myself a terrible start. Secondly, exploits/glitches related to racing. Specifically, curb boosting, holding up on the stick, and off-road tires. Since Broughy more or less advised everyone to use off-road tires on all racing cars, I'm going to assume it's accepted within the crew to use off-road tires, if you want, in random races. But there can be events that ban them. Now, curb boosting and holding up on the stick.... these I don't think you can regulate, but I wonder what the consensus is. I've seen players are are absolute sidewalk whores on Los Santos GP, using every boost possible, and I've seen other players who either were ignorant of the exploit or just good sportsmen. I think those that have raced with me will say I'm a little too nice and not aggressive enough, as I'm too worried about pissing someone off because I tap their bumper. This carries over in making sure I'm not exploiting my fellow crew members because of a gentleman's agreement or lack of insider knowledge.
