Yeah. I know, it's terrible. I haven't liked any of the NFS games they've put it on since NFS MW. I think they focused too much on modern day sports and super cars and little to no customization. Racing on NFS Undercover was also very good imo. It was not as good as his older brothers NFSU & NFS MW (2006) but, Need for Speed feeling was in that game . Yeah. I agree. I actually forgot about Undercover.

As soon as the game came out me and one of my friends from college used to race in random lobbies together and destroy the randoms. He was only just slower than me but kind of started to lose interest in the game. With us racing quite frequently I wanted to see what the fastest car was for the class I was racing. I noticed when I was youtubing what the fastest car was that it was the same nothern guy as the last video I watched so I subscribed to him and heard him talk about the crew in one of his videos. I joined around April/May and started competitively racing in June (DNFing every race). So I've been racing competitively for about 9/10 months.

I didn't get into properly for a little while...I found the pit manoeuvering annoying. Then last year I got into racing. At first I was just another muggle who was perfectly content with catchup, slipstream and traffic. I knew nothing of racing lines and anything like that. I would watch Broughy's car tests and alot of Gun1t too. I began to get better against randoms, and to win far more races than I'd lose. It was then I looked into it more, and into Broughy's racing school, and his serious approach to racing - no catchup or slipstream etc. At first I was nervous without these mechanics, but I ended up doing better...Catchup penalises the stonger players, ofcourse.
I think it was summer last year I joined the crew. Since then I've lost more races than I've won, and my record isn't as impressive anymore, but that just doesn't matter when you get to experience such thrilling, competitive and clean racing. Some of the battles I've had with you guys have been immense, and on the occasions when you do finish first, it feels earned...Like you've scrapped and strategised for every yard of advantage over your opponents. It's awesome.

Good times <3 Those god damn onion cutting ninjas are close again..

I started racing in GTA in the beginning of online. I've never played other racing games other than Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, etc... but I've always been a pretty decent driver in GTA and other games. I definitely think I did get better, but I haven't raced competitively online in a few months so my skill level has fallen.
Edit: Actually! I now remember playing NFS games back in the day, but they obviously didn't leave much of an impression on me other than The Doors ft. Snoop Dogg, 'Riders on the Storm.' They weren't very challenging to race, but still rather fun.
